At first both Srilankan Tamil civilans and LTTE trusted Rajiv Gandhi and signed a peace treaty agreement due to the belief in Rajiv Gandhi as he promised the safety of lives of Srilankan Tamils So the Rajiv Gandhi sent Indian army in the name of IPKF to Srilankan.. the Sinhalese people and the government were not happy about that but Tamil people had wholeheartedly welcomed our army into their country.. then as per the peace treaty LTTE members also slowly surrendered their weapons to our army.. according to the peace treaty proposed by Rajiv Gandhi certain proposals which ensured the basic rights of Srilankan Tamils supposed to be brought into governance but Rajiv Gandhi simply didn't cared about his promise due to his political benefits.. he just did the intervention just to show the world that he is a powerful world leader that's it.. it was a time when Rajiv Gandhi tried to form third world country alliance after USA and Russia and also tried to start a South Asian bank on his captaincy but everything were failed completely.. as Rajiv Gandhi failed to keep the promises the srilankan tamil civilians along with LTTE leaders started protesting in front of Indian army camps at srilanka.. some people started fasting protest too.. Many Srilankan civilians even died due to conduct fasting protest but Rajiv Gandhi didn't even cared about it.. All of u guys only known Prabhakaran but Do u know a person called Dileepan who was praised as 'The light of Sacrifice'?? He was also an LTTE member who died doing fasting protest demanding Rajiv Gandhi to fullfill his promises in Srilanka.. they remained silent even after that.. then LTTE members decided to face their problems in a political manner and they too started political wing.. then as they became silent and non violent, the Srilankan govt started targetting and killing the commanders of LTTE who battled against Srilankan Army before.. so LTTE supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran decided to safeguard the important commanders of LTTE , as they decided to struggle non violently he decided to send those commanders to Tamilnadu India for their safety through fishing boats but the IPKF caught them when they were going to Tamilnadu.. all of them were taken back to Srilanka and placed in IPKF camps, as per the treaty proposed by Rajiv Gandhi, any of the LTTE cadres who violate the rules can be imprisoned in India or they should be handed over to LTTE's high command.. but the IPKF decided to hand all the LTTE commanders to Srilankan govt.. Prabhakaran at that time tried to contact and speak with Rajiv Gandhi in every possible ways but Rajiv Gandhi simply denied any of the contact request made by Prabhakaran.. this incident made all of the Srilankan Tamils realize that Rajiv Gandhi intervened in srilankan civil war just for the sake of his own publicity.. any LTTE commander who caught in the hands of Srilankan govt will be brutally and inhumanely tortured by the Srilankan govt before killing.. it was a practice there.. so after all the failed attempts of rescueing those commanders from IPKF, all of them committed suicide in the custody of Indian army before they hand them over to Srilankan Army.. so srilankan tamils started to hate our indian army.. then they used to raid tamil people houses in search of weapons and takes away everything they get from there including jewels.. at some point one Srilankan Tamil who complained publicly about this issue was arrested by our Indian army and was killed in their custody in their camp.. Then the LTTE got triggered and the Guerrilla force of LTTE made their first ever attack on Indian army camp and killed three soldiers... It was then reported to Rajiv Gandhi he ordered indian army to completely wipe out the entire LTTE and it's leader at any cost.. Rajiv Gandhi completely underestimated them.. As the LTTE was only a guerilla force at that time they use to hide in the bunkers in the dense forsests so it is not easy to find them but if any of the Tamil civilans were killed they will definitely come out seeking revenge.. so our Indian army started to kill numerous srilankan tamil civilians in an area and hide somewhere around that area waiting for the LTTE soldiers to come and hunt them down.. it became a practice and the Indian army due to lack of command and discipline they acted inhumanely.. thousands and thousands of innocent tamil civilians children and elder people were brutally tortured and killed in front of their families itself to send LTTE message by Indian army.. At that time most of the Tamil woman were gangraped and killed by our Indian army.. no one cared about it except LTTE.. they people were the only group who fought against those things and stood by the side of affected people... Day by day the war between Indian army and LTTE grown very strong and both the sides suffered huge losses but LTTE fought and killed Indian soldiers but Indian soldiers whenever they got chance they killed every single Tamil civilans too.. at that time every single Tamil woman will have cyanide capsules always with them in case if Indian army enters their home when their husbands are out they'll immediately commit suicide.. coz of the fear of sexual abuse from Indian soldiers especially the Sikh regiment of Indian army.. it was later even proved by DNA tests that most of our Sikh soldiers raped those tamil woman.. Actually the real war is between LTTE and Srilankan govt only... But due to inhuman atrocities of Indian army even Sinhalese people started protesting against Indian army to move out of their country.. When all these things became internationally published most of the world countries criticized our Army's actions and even then the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Mr.MGR also had acknowledged it at that time.. then Rajiv Gandhi was forced to withdraw our army troops from Srilanka.. the war between LTTE and Indian army lasted for about 3 years.. about 10000 tamil civilians and 1500 LTTE soldiers were killed by Indian army whereas more than 2000 Indian army soldiers were killed in the battlefield by the LTTE.. but Indian army didn't able to defeat LTTE... The Indian army returned to India by ship through Tamilnadu seashores.. they were humiliated by our tamil people in Tamilnadu for their actions in Srilanka.. none of our Indian soldiers who worked in IPKF are respected by our people here still now... As many of the international communities came to know about the atrocities of IPKF, Rajiv Gandhi's image was completely broken among international communities... So his Desire of becoming the leader of the alliance of South Asian countries was completely failed... Even the political critiques of India at that time, Government advisors, opponent parties and every single one except Rajiv Gandhi and RAW agents critcised their irresponsible actions which caused so many lives of innocent poor people.. All the Indians at that time forced Rajiv Gandhi to accept his defeat and failure of his war against LTTE.. it became a greatest shame of his life.. Then the next parliament election was announced in India and Rajiv Gandhi was declared as the the Prime minister candidate of Congress.. then on his all election campaigns he started giving promises that if he wins again as prime minister he would send back IPKF again to Srilanka and defeat tha LTTE... it was a nonsense anger... that struggle and war of Srilankan Tamils was against Sinhalese Srilankan majority to obtain their basic rights.. they fought in a dignified way... Neither Rajiv Gandhi nor Indian army din had any role in it... Rajiv Gandhi himself stuck his nose on their business and failed to give them justice and tried to use them for his own goods.. it was completely selfish.. So the srilankan Tamils again started fearing about Indian army as they promised that they gonna come back to Srilanka and wipe out entire Tamil race when they leave srilanka before.. at the very same time the srilankan govt also waged a brutal war against Srilankan Tamils and LTTE... So if Rajiv Gandhi wins again he is gonna send Indian troops back to Srilanka and wage war against LTTE and tamils along with Srilankan army.. then without any choice it became the only option to save numerous innocent Tamil people lives, the intelligence wing of LTTE planned and executed the Rajiv's assassination.... But LTTE was not only the organization which involved in Rajiv's assassination.. LTTE was the weapon but so many national international powers were involved in it that is why the investigation of Rajiv's murder didn't even done properly.. it is confessed by the CBI chief investigation officer of Rajiv's assassination Mr.Ragothaman publicly that the LTTE people who had caught in this case were all just low level weapons and there is a wider international conspiracy in it.. he too wrote a book about it.... If u didn't believe what all I said there are two books namely "SATANIC FORCE" and "ISLAND OF BLOOD" which describes all the atrocities done by IPKF and Rajiv Gandhi in Srilanka.. Plz don't even try to sympathise for Rajiv Gandhi... He was an amateur, selfish and a completely corrupt minded politician who wrote his death on his very own hands... LTTE had no option to save their people from him except to eliminate him bro... So please understand
