Michael Jackson-Bolanos, 29, is charged with first-degree murder, home invasion, and lying to a peace officer after he allegedly stabbed Woll in her Detroit home in October 2023. She was found dead outside her residence in the 1360 block of Joliet Place.
Jackson-Bolanos was arrested several weeks later amid speculation that Woll's murder was a hate crime due to her position within metro Detroit's Jewish community. However, Detroit police said later on they don't believe that to be the case.

im confused the prosecution came with all this stuff that sounds like mjb story don't make sense but when he was on the stand they literally didn't ask him about any of this stuff like what the h is going on???? im so confused bro...mistrial or not guilty this just doesn't seem right doesn't feel right idk i could be tripping

I think the State at some point realized this was not a strong case but was too far in and didn’t want to drop the charges and get sued. So perhaps they are playing the long game. Hope the jury convicts and they avoid liability for wrongful prosecution and other things. . . . .

I'm not saying he is innocent, But in my opinion there is definitely reasonable doubt. And based on the instructions and law, if there is a mustard seed of doubt, he's not guilt. This may seem like an oxymoron, but its the law. Just really think about it.

Obviously GUILTY. Best closing by the state Ive ever seen. Visual aids were fantastic and the DA has this case absolutely wired. Admitting to being a criminal is NOT a real defense. It means the def is more likely to have committed the crime.

The State was brutal tho! I had chills as they rested their case! I dont feel that the defense matched the States energy during the closing arguments and we really needed them to show up more convincing and stronger in their approach. Omg now Im really Scared for the defendant! It also seemed as if the energy within the defense team shifted, they really looked defeated. I’d hate for him to go to jail on felony murder if he has not committed this crime. Thats a longgg time bro! My anxiety is up the roof fr🤦🏻‍♀️
