The question is what is complete surrender? How does it look or what are the characteristics of complete surrender? One who got the intellect and the education, for him complete surrender is probably the most difficult thing. It is even more difficult than meditation. Because, complete surrender means that a baby monkey has caught hold off his mother. Then he won’t ask his mother that why you are jumping over the river or why are you jumping from one tree to another or what if I fall? A person who is intellectually advanced will always base his surrender on some condition. The first mistake a person does is that he thinks that if I have surrendered completely, I will not have any problems in my life. This is what we have ourselves derived as the result of complete surrender. That, if my surrender is complete, my children will be okay, I will be fine, my job will be okay, my house will be okay, I will be without any sickness. And, if I get sick then there must be a hole in the umbrella that has been sheltering me. This is not surrender. This is trade.
