Thank you for this carnaval. I came from Portland Oregon with my children just to see this event , I had a blast. BEAUTIFUL! I'm coming back next year for sure!

The news media announces that offices and office buildings in San Francisco are vacant or nearly vacant. Why doesn’t that translate into affordable rents for average people?

Great parade as always! Hopefully in the future less talking ( keeping it to a minimum) allow the sound of the contingent’s marching/ dancing music be heard! 🤷🏼‍♂️ Washington, DC

Central and South American Indigenous culture @54:12 with Aztec Dancing and Spiritual Blessings, relates to overall Carnival theme of Celebrating the the Latinx Diaspora. Hopefully, we will more see recognition that the celebration in on Ohlone Land in future Carnival Parades.

ANNOUNCERS CORRECTION PLEASE: The group at 3:09:26 in this video IS NOT A TRINIDADIAN GROUP. I think the announcers need to know that not only Trinidadians do Carnival and they are doing a disservice to this group to call them a Trinidadian group...They are not. Does she nor recognize the flag in the front as the Belizean Flag? All Carnival Band that play soca consist of masqueraders from various cultures and sometimes non in the group are from Trinidad.

Why doesn't the government take over the vacant office buildings from the property owners in SF and turn them into affordable housing for immigrants and poor people?

Because the property owners or mortgage companies are still the legal owners. And these spaces are zoned for commercial use.
