In this video I will show you how to share folder from ubuntu to windows 10. I am using ubuntu command line. To create share folder in ubuntu 20.04 we have to install and configure samba.
I will create Fully accessed share
directory & password protected share folder.

Thanks bro sharing knowledge bro, I tried it and worked but issue is i cant share private folders from different partation. This method works only in local disk c.

I have a ubuntu server 18.04 , file sharing is already enabled , but everyone can see others file kept in central server i want to make a centralised share folder where students can save their file in server with id password. Is this possible , pls suggest Thank you

Windows os virus can not infect the linux os.

how to do this with EC2 server and windows machine?? I have open the port 445 and 139 but it still given do_connect: Connection (the ip) failed (Error NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT).

You need to check the firewall as the os level. I think you have allowed the port under security group.

Hi, nice tutorial! But I don know why I not able to connect network drive directly from windows PC. Immediately after typing of IP address + Enter, the login window pops up. I cant see network folders like on video... Any idea?
