SAMBAL LOTIS. DELICIOUS TAMARIND SAUCE. DELICIOUS WITH FRUITS
Ingredients:
1-2 hot peppers
200 gr of tamarind paste
5-6 gr of shrimp paste
250 gr of sugar
2 cup water
Preparation:
Open the tamarind and set aside
mash the pepper and shrimp paste
heat up 2 cups of water and dissolve the mashed paste
bring the water to a light boil and dissolve the sugar
break the tamarind and add to the boiling mix
keep breaking the tamarind in the pot
once the mix thickens up, lower the heat
keep on low heat till the mix is thick enough as shown
pour in a bowl and serve with any fruit you like…
