Reg, Sambar hunting wouldn't be the same without you and a handful of a few others that have carved out a path for us younger ones. Thanks for the inspiration. Regards, Sal.

Thanks, Sal, l suppose success is in the eyes of the beholder. My videos are to encourage, learn, and understand Sambars' will to evade and survive under fair pursuit. It hit home a few days ago when a good mate Son filmed his first 30 plus stag recently. His father passed away from cancer at 63. We shared many camps together during the early days. So I'm so proud that Alex continues in his father's footsteps and good luck when he next meets up with that magnificent stag.😊👍

@@reggordon4982 very true Reg. Yes, your videos are very detailed and definitely valuable, even to those who shoot plenty of deer and have clocked up bush time. The bitter side of life mate. Cancer is a nasty thing. I just found out that my friend's father is getting his eye removed this week due to a melanoma tumour that was recently discovered somewhere in the eye ball. Thanks again🙏 All the best Reg. Sal.

Thank you so much for taking the time and sharing your knowledge with, Quick question. If I find good tracks and that’s been used wallow should I continue the walk and stalk or should I just sit down and wait

Hi Eddie, it will depend on the circumstances. I myself would do my utmost not to scent up the area. We would relocate after a long stay because the area will have your scent lingering around. It also depends on breeze conditions. If l cut fresh tracks and conditions are my favour, l would follow up. Be mindful that the deer may not be far away? so look for those areas that the deer may be holding up, and if this is the case, quite footsteps, if you are walking on eggshells, is essential 👌
