Grace is so animated and bubbly it's hard to pay attention to what she's saying cause just watching her expressions and gestures is hilarious. 😄 🤗 I love that more people are getting to see her as herself - just as incredible a person as a performer. Nothin better than seeing Grace smiling and laughing 🥰 and a great interview at the same time! 👏 👏 Thanks Sam!!

That went very well. Most interviewers know little or nothing about Grace and that's okay. But, Michelle connected with Grace a little, and by the end started to understand her a little more. She now knows that Grace is genuine, and not some premadona.

Grace is a very nice and intelligent young woman. And she always knew how to control her nerves, because a strong personality adds to her sweetness and apparent fragility.

She's a comedian. I think that takes a certain intelligence to be successful. Grace more than held her own with the fluidity of the interview. I think Grace would make a great interviewer herself. Another Talent.

Happiness is seeing our Grace happy! 22:00 minutes of ear to ear grin... a great way to start my day! Who in the World would not jump to get a one on one with the incomparable Grace VanderWaal? STILL an under the radar phenom on the brink of exploding on the World stage like nothing we have seen since the "British Invasion"! Thank you yet again Sam!!!

@@SamBorgman Thanks for that Sam. Certain to be a huge and welcomed medium. Been following the comments on the trailers and adding my two cents about Grace. Lot of people sick of and hyped about getting away from Netflix and others. The market really does seem ripe for it! I still am a little soft on how much attention Stargirl will get among so many other VERY popular and highly anticipated shows. As we talked about, no doubt the timely release of a song from the movie will help launch both. If there is a song it sure needs to be a good one to really re-illuminate Grace's star! As you mentioned "fingers crossed". Heard any rumblings at all about such a release? I am convinced the movie will be just wonderful and create a lot of buzz with just the right crowd. It's been an extremely popular book and many many people excited it's becoming a movie. Hoards read it in school and are now in there 20's which could be a really significant boost for Grace.
@SamBorgman4 жыл бұрын
@@rosswinslow4595 I think the movie being online and something you watch from home, would allow a lot of people to look Grace up instantly, unlike in a movie theater. That instant reaction is very valuable these days because attention span is very short now. So I think a lot of people will find her and follow her as they watch the movie. We should keep an eye on her follower counts everywhere :) No have not heard anything about a song yet.
@rosswinslow45954 жыл бұрын
@@SamBorgman Good point. I'll watch and probably be asking you how you see and feel about the follower counts. What do you think about Letters Vol 2, maybe around Summer Tour time? Or is she just tooo unpredictable... ha!

I only heard the audio the first time around and was rather annoyed by the interviewer's rather manic style on behalf of Grace, who rocked as usual. When I saw the live version it was a different story. Grace was into the whole thing, engaged, happy, and playful. Ms. Collins did a very good job of engaging Grace and putting her (and Tina!) at ease. We heart our queens.
@AlanTauber-DrumConnection4 жыл бұрын
I agree. I did not enjoy this really. There was this always filling every second feel. If Grace can handle that competitive, confusing, wish I were you interview (and she did) she basically was nicely and very delicately used the kicked up energy to take control of the interview. I know Grace can do it all, I'm a believer since, yes, day 1. I have always said, I think talk show host would be something she could ace. And here she proves that she can save any interview and take control. Way cool I am so damn proud of her. Treat them with love! Alan - Boston

This one wasn’t a real interview, this was a real conversation between two really sharp and witty women.the better one in the white corner and the runner up is in the black corner who could believe that grace would be evenly sharp than Michelle and even delivering harder shuts than her? Folks I’m try to tell always if we would not have Grace, the music would be dead.

Celeb kids are a little different. Ever hear of the movie Mommy Dearest? Parents don't want to read a book from their child when they get old how they suppressed their childs creativity. They did this to me then they did that and their favorite line to me was "not while you live in my house" There are meaningless things like tattoos you can give into

@@allthings.stranger yes we know that, sorry I'm just seeing this now. The cat got out of the bag over Interlochen and thanks to the location of it it would have to be a local who would go on the property to get to Grace. In her home town HS there would have to be security measures taken that normal public schools aren't prepared to guarantee and it cost big bucks to have an entourage of bodyguards around you like Ariana has. You can easily have a tutor keeping you up on your school work til you get back to school after touring
