you need your watch one piece people say “ITS SO LOONG” “ITS SO SLOWWW” but honestly if you binge it it’s not that bad ITS A AMAZING STORY ODA DID WELL the animation needed more work near the pre timeskip but after 2Y2D the animation was peak and the budget must of been amazing for this so I really think you should watch its really good

Young enough that I was pretty shielded from the fandom, I just enjoyed watching the show, then things changed when I found the fandom, and I realized the times people brought up my like for MHA was actually their way of teasing me about liking it. But idc bcz they were all kinda rude anyways and I can like what I want 🤷♀️

Hey guys, help me up here, please. I have never clicked with One Piece. I have given so many chances since it came out. I always found it lacking (personal interests of stories. No hate) behind others stories that got my attention. I even gave a try when I had nothing to entertain myself with. Maybe it is not for me. The thing is, I really want to understand why it is so popular and possess one of the biggest communities. Can someone tell me what it is so good about it... I understand the nostalgia factor for those who watched it while growing up, or the diversity of powers and abilities over time and the gears and power ups... Sorry for making it this long. But I don't get why I never liked this even a little. I have liked other anime/manga in the past that I don't even remember now until I see a picture of any of the characters. Sorry for making this long text. Thanks in advanced for those who answer.

@@LS-pc6qt i broke my ankle in december, decided i will do it just to make myself like it. Today I am at 1023. Horrible pacing every arc gets longer and more drawn out. Good world building. nonsense combat/magic system of haki that just shows up and is everything but noone new about it for the whole first half of the show. dumb physics. But the underlying story besides all the noise and nonsense is amazing. I have a theory it all takes place on a speck of dust like whoville in Dr. Suess. Really only way i can enjoy it. Shows been on for like thirty years, and in show its been 4-5 years.... just everything takes so long.

I just started watching one piece 3 weeks ago and now I am on post-lobies arc about episode 240 and I want to give a quick review about that :- Start was as people say it was ( it was hella slow ) but the show catches up pretty fast and not gonna lie i am pretty much enjoying the show but i freaking hate chopper and usopp both of them are irrelevant. At the end show is pretty good consider watching it if you enjoy world building because show's creater oda have done quite an astounding foreshadowing. So do consider 😌

One piece ngl is one of the greatest stories with some of the the most unique characters which are all completely built to life by the backstories and emotions of them even irrelevant characters. Another thing is how the world building makes it feel real and not closed and fake so With all of these factors one piece is perfect

I'm watching it at the moment. I've just finished Alabaster (so no spoilers), and tbh it's not insane at the moment. I felt the conclusion to luffy and Crocodiles' fight was very anticlimactic, and it felt like none of the characters had any idea of what the hell they were doing. Arlong felt way more impactful in his fight. Plus, the pacing was God damn awful
