There are a lot of things to see, but I summarized four must-see attractions
1. If you take a cable car from Jangho Beach, nicknamed Naples in Korea, to Yonghwa Beach, the hidden cozy beach unfolds under the cable car. It's a small palm-sized space that appears when you walk along the trail, but it's good enough to space out in your own space surrounded by small hills while listening to the clear and bright sea and the sound of waves.

2. Chogok Yonggul Chotdae Rock, which was released from the military area after 60 years and has been open to the public since 2019, although not all can be seen due to typhoon damage, the scenery is outstanding enough to satisfy only Chotdae Rock and Turtle Rock.
3. It's in Donghae, not Samcheok, but it's right next to it, so I put it in together. It's not in the mountains like any other cave, but it's right next to City Hall, so it's easy to visit, but what's unfortunate is that there are 20 golden bats, and it's hard to see them because of the lighting and the crowd. You have to wear a helmet because the cave is low in height and you may hit your head.
4. This is Chuam Chotdaebawi Rock, which appears as the background screen when the national anthem "Donghaemul~~" comes out It is a favorite place for many photographers to take a picture of the sun across the Chotdaebawi Rock at sunrise, and it is a wonderful place with many attractions, including not only Chotdaebawi Rock but also the view of the beach from the suspension bridge and the sculpture park.
If you have time, I recommend you to stay overnight and visit Samcheok or Gangneung, but if you look at the above four places, you can go home on the same day.
