Look is absolutely gorgeous as always! I agree that from a distance, it would be difficult to see a difference. However, I found that the yellow from the matte palette pulled slightly mustard or golden than the 2.0 side. You're work is amazing though. 👏 ❤️💯

I just got my Bright 2.0. It's early to say, but I love it so far. There are def some dupes between it in and the Bright Mattes. But the two compliment each other well. I appreciate the inclusion of deeper Browns and warmer purples, reds, and oranges. I feel like having both covers 95% of what you'd need to do any look.

I love, love your videos! As someone who loves to wear bright colored eyeshadows everyday, you’re my inspiration, lol! I was already eyeing the old palette but I’m so glad I waited because I’m loving the the brighter colors of the 2.0 version. But I also like the smokey side of the first one… ugh, lol. Decisions, decisions. 🤔 But anyways, I really hope you can do additional looks using this new palette. I would love to see what else you can come up with. 👍

Best advice I can give if you're unsure is to look at what you already own and see which of these adds more to your collection! Like if you lack pastels or cool tones etc. I defs plan on using it more :)

I like the 2.0 because of the shimmers and glitters, but both palettes are amazing in my opinion. Great video btw i loved the look, had to screen shot it cause i have to try it and see if it look good on my melanatet skin.

I think it would have been more authentic if you compared the bright 1 and 2 palettes. There you could have seen the difference in quality between matte and glossy colors.

Hi, so I love this fiery look and like a beautiful Valentine look. You always do your makeup so flawlessly, and colorful, and just all around amazing. I am still having problems with brushes and applying the make up. I always try to figure out the brushes you have. Do you have a video on the brushes you use, the name of them, their shape, and and how you apply them? If not, could you please do one? At least, for me, I think it would make it easier on how to apply the shadow and with what brush. Anyways, amazing and beautiful as always. Btwm how is Weni doing?

I did one a few years ago! I have some new favorites but I explain what my faves are and why I like them. I try 9/10 to say which Im using too within my content as well. Though I will say now I am more into natural hair bristles over synthetic since I think they blend and apply powder products a lot better but I know they aren't for everyone! She's doing ok, but I think I need to flip her food again since its causing ear problems (we're at the tail end of her food trial and it just started happening). It's so frustrating because I hate seeing her uncomfortable!

@@BreyonnaFaye I ll look for that video. The only reason I ask is because you out of most of the people so a better job when telling us what brush your using. You use brushes that are either from a company I don't have or not sure what it is. There are also brushes that are no longer around. I try to write down the name of the brush when you say it, but sometimes you're really fast. I'm not sure if you're using a rounded blending brush first or a different one which again, not sure of of. Maybe you can show the brush closer up to the camera and/or putting it down in the description box. I'm sorry about Weni. Have you tried a specialist? We had a dog once that we ended up taking her to a specialist, and it made a big difference. They were able to get her the right medication. Take care♥

@@BreyonnaFaye Hey, so I also wanted to ask you about the lower lash line. No matter what I do or use, my lower lash line always melts. A few hours later, it looks like I cried and it also gets the term I use is gooky. Like a build up in both corners of the eye. I do spray my face when done. So, it shouldn't be happening but it does all the time. Any suggestions??

I really like the look you created. You can see a slight difference with some of those shades like the reds, but unless you’re like inspecting your face you’re never gonna know haha. I like both sides. I love me some Beauty Bay tho! Have you seen pics of the new palette coming out, new mood I think? Looks good, some neutral some color 💖💛❤️💜

ikrrrrr?! The red really is the one that shows the difference I think, maybe the yellow too. But honestly in person its SOOOO hard to see the slight differences unless you're like really inspecting it. Wait there's a new one, Im gunna go see if I can find it LOL I loooove the LE ones they come out with

This is like the most genius video for you and no I have not tried beauty bay. I absolutely love shimmers the most, what do you recommend? when I do make a purchase it will be whatever you suggest

I’d say earthy or midnight! They have different sizes of them but they’re the same shades (like earthy 42 has same as the earthy 16). They are mostly matte but the shimmers in them are insane! The bright 2.0 is lovely too but the shimmers aren’t all the same with the wow factor (the ones I’ve tried are nice but some are more extra than others)!

How do you do that to your hair? A messy bun? You pin it? I love it!

High pony, don’t pull it through the whole way (the loop it creates is the main bun part) and then wrap the ends around the base of the pony tail holder! Then you just pin and pull on it until it looks cute! I personally do the ponytail with a scrunchie to make it look bigger and put a claw clip in the back after I’m done to push it up more since my hair is heavy 💜

I can see a tiny difference in the yellow - it looks slightly more true neutral yellow in 2.0. Maybe it will mix better with brighter green shades in newer palette. Hoping they bring out mini 9-pan of this new version because I need that vibrant red!

Beautiful look! I have the bright matte palette so good to know I can pass on the new one. I love a matte white inner corner. Can you recommend a good matte white? I really like bh cosmetics white but I hate to use up the white in my mimosa palette, I've got quite a dip going on. Wish they sold it in a single

Tbh the best is the matte white in the norvina vol 1 and vol 6 palettes! But as a single the best I’ve used is the sugar pill shade in tako!

i love a matte white inner corner too! i really like an all matte look and sometimes a shimmer would throw it off, but a little matte white always makes it look so much more complete. if you’re also looking for blacks and greys, the colourpop blowin smoke palette is amazing imo. the matte black, grey, and white are some of the best i’ve ever used and the shimmers are beautiful too.

Hey, can anyone tell me: Is the formula of the Bright 2.0 closer to Beauty Bay's 20 pan or the new Berries, Earthy and Midnight palettes? I'm trying to see if it is worth picking up... then I can gift the old version Bright matte that I already have to my niece (I never touched it yet, bought it for sfx beauty makeup). I wasn't as impressed with the formula in the old Bright matte (and fiery and neutral palettes. The formula wasn't bad but their other formula is phenomenal; it blends easily, very pigmented, true to pan color, lasts without fading, zero fallout, etc. ) as I am with the Beauty Bay formula of their 20 pans. Thanks!

I’m trying to decide between the bright (not 2.0, just the first one) and the blend bunny blends palette, which do you think is a better choice? I saw that you have reviewed both.

I don’t reach for my original 42 matte brights anymore for some reason (honestly not sure why, it’s one of my most used palettes in my collection). I’d look at what you like to wear and what you already have in your collection first. Personally I love pastels and the ones in the Blend Bunny Blends are amazing and some are very unique, however some of the mid to deeper blues and purples can be a challenge for me to blend out. I have never had an issue with any of the shades in the 42 Bright matte and I’ve used every single shade in it, but I now reach for the Bright 2.0 over it (probably just because it’s a newer launch and I have midnight and earthy as well). The original brights isn’t as vibrant with some shades and is very blue and purple heavy with the color story! They both have a very similar formula with the pigmentation. I’d say if you’re looking for value/“bang for your buck” I’d go with the OG Bright Matte. If you want the palette everyone talks about with a “one and done” color story I’d go with the blend bunny. 💖

Beauty bay is one of the best brand for palettes, the prices are amazing. The only american brand that could compare to beauty bays formula, is jeffree star in my opinion. I dont care how much ppl dislike him, that man is a makeup genius and nobody can deny that. Now what is beauty bay and the Stacey Marie's furmula chef's kiss for sure.
