Same-s3x common-law partnership and marriage is legal accross Canada. But with limited FREE information as to what exactly is needed to prove this relationship, it makes the application challenging.With Rica and Kim's experience, they had to base it from our common-law application video intended for opposite-s3x. Thus, they had to get the services of an agency to strengthen their application.We are hoping that this video will help our Kababayans doing DIY application for their study permit with the information coming from the successful application of Rica and Kim.

My bro and his partner also were able to successfully process a same-sx common law application through DIY. I remembered writing a letter of proof about their relationship. It is great that you are covering this topic

Sobrang hirap ng requirements as CLP. 1 of this na Medyo struggle po ako. One of proof of Common-Law which is to have 3-4 testimony letters from a friend, family, and co-worker. Baka meron po kayong sample. Salamat.

Hello po.. DIYer here. Ask ko po sana if i ipanotarize po yung statutory declaration kasama ba lahat na ipapakita yung nga dineclare na mga documents na isinulat bago manotarize? If yes, required po ba mga original lahat?

Under din po ba ng LMIA ang pag apply ng common law? Ung kaLive in ko po yung parents nya nasa canada. Permanent residence na don. Dapat ba ung jowa ko muna iaapply nila sa LMIA bago ako iapply na partner nya as common law. Para sabay kami makapunta don? Thanks

ppwede din po bang maging proof yung VUL insurance namin ng partner ko, sunlife of canada po yun. sa parehong account po namin nakalagay yung isat isa as benefeciary, na nakalay ay common law partner..

Conjugal po term dyan kc same sex po sila,. Not common-law (unmarried, of opposite sex)

It still apply to them(common law) because they lived together for 1 year. Conjugal is applicable if you didn’t cohabitate for a year, but you’re in a long distance relationship

is there any official affidavit format available from the Canada website to prove common-law same-sex partnership? or was the affidavit template freely crafted by the Philippine lawyer?

it was drafted by Rica's partner,Kim. and then they had it notarized.

There is none na specific for same-sex but in the CIC website, you will use Statutory Declaration of Common-Law Union IMM5409, have it notarised. We used this and we got approved po.
