Lovely! I'm a baby witch and have some questions. I love the idea of using a hollowed out pumpkin, but what if I don't have a pumpkin - could I use a normal kitchen bowl instead and put that outside? Also, should one go by the back door as well? Thanks!

If you don't have a pumpkin, just use whatever you have on hand. I'm only using a pumpkin in honor of Samhain and it helps to give the spell more protective power during this time. You can do as many as you want, I usually only do one by the front entrance way as this is the main entry.
