Some of Sami Whitcomb's amazing work from the 2016/17 WNBL season with the Perth Lynx. She averaged 24.1 points and 2.6 steals per game - leading the league in both categories, along with 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists. Her 652 point season total is the highest in WNBL history, and her 105 3PM (which she shot at 41.3%) is also a single season league record.
Sami was named in the WNBL Team of the Week 13 out of a possible 18 times, and was named to the WNBL All Star 5 alongside Leilani Mitchell, Asia Taylor, Marianna Tolo & Suzy Batkovic.
On March 9th it was announced that Suzy Batkovic was the WNBL MVP, with 129 votes. Whitcomb finished a close second with 123 votes.
