As a divorce lawyer: black women, especially those in higher powered jobs, or who have a desire to become something financially more powerful than they are now, must get prenuptial agreements! I have personally gone through a divorce and would always offer this advice.
@xoxo-vp7ww
@xoxo-vp7ww 2 ай бұрын
Even if they don’t aspire to achieve those things, they should still get a prenuptial because a lot of men take advantage of the hierarchy and are more likely to leave a BW with nothing if a divorce occurs and the courts are biased and don’t give BW the same level of grace or mercy that they lend to other races of women, generally speaking.

Remember in the community most blk men make less than 50k so if you making 100k to millions why are you with a man that makes considerably less find a man that makes more than you or the same these relationships never work the msn going to cheat , mistreat you because he doesn’t have money especially in our community it doesn’t benefit us ..especially in court they want to make an example I doubt if it was a white women blk man I doubt they would’ve played in her face and made her pay… blk women get out of blk male worship it doesn’t benefit you remember most black men not in they kid life so if they go to court and say they want their kid the judge would say yes remember we have a 70% fatherless rate her ex husband is now the women staying at home with the kid,alimony,child support etc cautionary tale blk women the courts going to make an example of you for your bad decision making in relationships she’s a cautionary tale

Obedience...really? Do you know how wrong that sounds? Religious women really need to snap out of this religious brainwashing. It's 2024 and some of you are still talking as if you are slaves on a plantation and you need to Obey masser...or else. SMH Religion really did a number of many of you, ladies and you don't even know where you are coming or going in your blind obedience and submission to a man made god created for males and by males. SMH again.

Praying that God will soften her heart and the next man that enters her life will know exactly how to love her because he’s being lead by the Father and not by his own agenda. 🙏🏾❤️

Some of us undervalue the value, importance and meaning of friendship and the role that it plays in being in love. Knowing one's self and establishing one's relationship and engagement with one's Creator. Being allowed to live one's truth eventhough in a relationship. Loving another doesn't supersede loving one's self.

She didn’t have good lawyers and you know in the blk community the women is doing that struggle love ..marriage doesn’t benefit blk women with a blk man we end up on the losing end in marriage hence the 20% marriage rate between two blk people and 70% percent of those marriages divorce … they have the marriage rate at 32% for blk people but 10% or so of that is black and another race .. the lack of a stable family background shows the instability of our race the blk women is making moves and the men are standing still

What role did he play during the business development? Since you were married, did he provide any support as the business was being built? Since he was the "initial" provider giving you the support as you were building the business, what credit would you give him for your success? As a married man with businesses and tbe one who does most of the work of the business, my wife plays a significant role in multiple other ways in the success of the business. Finally, I would definitely like to hear his side of the story

You know how these relationships are most black women married are essentially single parents they paying most of the bills , generating money tbh they would be better unmarried statistics show we are the financial breadwinner in marriages hence no benefit for us to be with our counterparts we will be dragged down financially and emotionally this tied in with the 20% marriage rate in the community.. her relationship is a cautionary tale .. blk women get urself together and drop the dead weight because it breeds jealousy she would’ve been better off by herself same thing I am doing but I am single no dust mite can even get near me and I don’t want none of them near me marriages doesn’t benefit blk women with a blk man cautionary tale blk women stay clear 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

I was looking for this comment. He's raising their son full-time also. It's a business that was started during the marriage and she benefitted from what he provided during the marriage. Their divorce is public record and she definitely made herself sound like a saint here. He got 25% of the value of the business at the time of the divorce. That's not unreasonable. He filed for divorce over adultery.

The biggest lesson I'm gaining from watching these ladies/ boss's is that most men don't seem to be impressed with how much money a woman has. Especially at the expense of his natural born nature to want to feel needed by his woman. Does this mean he's insecure by this ideology or is the reversal in roles all together not working for most couples? I'd love to hear from a couple that has managed to stay together for some years with the woman being the " boss chick" and how they made it work.

The difference is women usually work with and for their husbands while they are building their wealth. Furthermore, if there are children they are ninety percent of the time the sole caregiver for the children. Also many women are pressured into quitting their jobs to run the household while men are able to focus and build. Without the women it would not happen. Her situation he did nothing.
