Jonas was one of the top junior players in the ITF rankings.
Samir Banerjee (Stanford) defeated Jonas Ziverts (Arizona) 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 on Number 2 single

the line judge needs better vision, he called two of those balls line whe it was clearly out in 6:38 and 7:33 but amazing perfomances from both Uni Players.

Great match. But this is also probably why there haven’t been top 10 US tennis players for so long. They burn out before they even turn pro cos of how competitive college tennis is. Venus and Serena’s dad didn’t let them go through that to keep them sane.

I think viewers of this channel are more likely to be diehard tennis fans than the audiences sitting in grand slam center courts, just my personal experience/opinion

So many do - what's your problem? So many care about recreational tennis also. Why does one only have to "care" about professionals? Not good spirted. Appreciate the talent, reflexes, power and speed of these young men.

On KZfaq it looks like a lot of people care about college tennis. I think it’s partially held back by not getting much airtime, outside of the NCAA championships being broadcasted on Tennis Channel in the past.
