I get the mentality of “don’t buy the skin” because fait enough it really doesn’t add anything and game is FTP. But it feels wrong when they sell the ultimate as the “next lvl for ultimate skins” and half of the new legendary skins have the same effects if not better. Also people love their characters and it might feel like a steal to get a 30$ skin for something that feels like 15. Anyway great video as always!

I don't think people said the skin was bad. The primary criticism was the skin that is of legendary quality, and heck I would say less than legendary knowing riot has done a lot more with previous legendries. The reuse of animations and and aspects from other legendary skins, Riot basically knew that people would blindly buy the overpriced skin which I would like to iterate is not the problem. The problem is Riot is trying to experiment how they could turn into overwatch when OW2 was in development. Minimise resources from development and balancing but maximising profits from the skins because they know that their players are a bunch of zombies that barely think so they would buy it and settle for less.
