This is simply unbelievable!!! After so many years I finally got it. The chord progression and the lack of logical and comprehensive access to the fretboard was always the biggest obstacle for me to continue learning and practicing the guitar and I switched to drums 20 years ago. Now I'm back to guitar and I'm so happy!!! Thank you sir!

Genius! I have only ever learnt guitar from tabs, and always was confused how to use scales to build my own songs. Went through various circle of fifths videos etc. But none explained the essence of the chord structure as well as this (I already knew the basic fingering patterns fro major and minor chords, but never understood how they would go together) beautiful! Thank you :)

At 3:46 you show barring an A shape; any hints on how to do that without muting the 1st string when using only the 3rd finger on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th strings? I've seen it done but I always muffle the high E.
@Samjamguitar
@Samjamguitar Жыл бұрын
You are actually supposed to mute the High end string when playing the shape this way...your not doing anything wrong! It is possible to make the string sound with this fingering but it would be quite difficult to explain in the comments section.
