Being in Japan plenty of cleaner S15 to build a keeper. Dubious value in PAYING for a nose tansplant on a drift missile. Even DIY I'd say just patch and run with it.

I love the intro but I also love the idea of using it as a flashback to what it once was! Holy shit, $1500 is an insanely good deal, my dad had to replace a unit on his rental commercial property for $25,000 almost 10 years ago!

With the shart tubs and rust I would do the whole front vs patch repair. These cars are expensive enough that it’s worth doing and if you are keeping it any length of time you will thank yourself later. Get that underbody properly protected too. The heat shields and dust shields on the brakes rust fast because of the heat. On my mx5 I switched all the factory heat shields for the aluminium aftermarket sheet style ones, was cheaper, lighter and better.

I would recommend going and chopping and putting the new front end on cause you could only see what’s “clean” on the outside but on the inside it could be worse and not worth fixing

Sam I honestly love whenever the abandoned s15 B roll plays. It’s one of my most favourite B rolls I’ve ever seen man. It hypes me up for the vid when it starts it and you add new parts to it after doing something game changing to the car! Love your content bro. Can’t wait to come to your shop one day soon! MUCH LOVE FROM CANADA!

I work in a body shop, just replace the whole front end, you will put all that time in the car for it to come back 5 years later, and you will be bummed. It’s honestly a quicker process then to cut every spot of rust out.

This is all part of the journey for the abandoned S15. If it's worthy, I think it would be awesome to turn this into a sick drift event car that you can take passengers in and do press stuff with it. That way it will still get some track time, but it won't get too abused if it's used for events and press. As far as intro I think it's better every few episodes at this point since it looks like this will be a long arc of videos before it's finished and doing its thing as either a drift missile or a sick drift event/press car.

All I'm saying is that if 3-5 professionals quote me 20-30k for a job, and then one says he can do it for 3k, I'm not gonna trust that guy to hold my seat while I go to the bathroom let alone install a commercial air conditioning system lmao

I think running the cars backstory twice (beginning and end) in the video is a bit much, once is perfectly fine. I think it also needs some variance so it doesn't get too stale or feel like filler. Looks like the car wasn't too rusty even behind the covers, kinda had me fearing for the worst lol.

Whoever repaired this car knows nothing about cars. Crazy how many faults one after the other and it's sad that even tho majority of the car is fitted wrongly and it was abandoned, it still wanted to run. All this time you were starting it up and doing burn outs the poor car was struggling but still sounded so good. It's so broken but still repairable. Can't wait to see it alive

Those dress up bolts are terrible. If the ones you have are the same as the ones that were on a car I bought... they're stainless steel. The stainless steel bolt actually causes the mild steel captive nuts on the cars frame, to rust faster (galvanic corrosion). Plus the Allen head sucks too!

Repair it, you said yourself that your going to get new tubs for it so theres your structure on the front of the struts. In the wheel wells/chassis legs you came up with your solutions straight away cut out the rust and tuck it higher and put in new good quality steel if your going use it as a drift car, in your climate and a good coat of paint and underseal your sorted👌🏻

You should do small intros of the car starting with where it came from(jungle clip) then cutting to what you did to it in the previous video (disassembling the engine)
