If you haven't seen past Chapter 4 of Bendy and the Dark Revival, this video contains spoilers and lore reveals for that chapter and going forward. All Characters seen in this short belong to ‪@JoeyDrewStudios‬, thank you lot for such an amazing set of games.

I’m aware that this wouldn’t happen in the game since Sammy’s locked up and the Ink Demon should probably still be trapped by the Keepers, but honestly I just wanted to draw BatDR stuff. Sammy’s still a favourite to me, despite him only getting 10 seconds of screen time.
If I wasn’t clear enough in the animatic, what happened was the Ink Demon got injured and Sammy left him a bacon soup can and tied that banner around his wound like a bandage. The guy can’t worship an injured lord, what good is that?
If you want you could think of Sammy’s motives as a “now he owes me” type of deal.
“I helped him so now he MUST set me free” -Sammy probably.

Sammy deserved more attention in BATDR, we just saw him as a prisioner and being shooted by Allyson Angel. He could have been a partner helping us at some point like Buddy Boris was in the first Game or at least helping Beast Bendy at the last moments of the game instead of appearing a bit of seconds and geting killed, or even interacting with him at the cells of the cycle breakers like we did with Henry.

THIS IS SO COOL I LOVE THE SOUND EDITING!!! Poor thing, glad that Sammy helped him out though, even if it was to gain a favor in return (but c'mon Sammy, we know you couldn't stand to see him injured either). Amazing work!

If Dark Revival ever get a DLC I'm adamant that Sammy deserves to be the protagonist, he's the only character that I think has a ton of character potential but is never expanded upon, he just shows up a few times, and dies right after. And it seems like his role in the cycle is to worship the ink demon and get killed by him, it would be great to see him survive one of those and continue through his life with his faith broken, maybe expand on his apparent kindness he shows to henry when he apologizes for having to sacrifice him, maybe fallow through with his relationship with Susie Campbell that's heavily implied to have happened, have him start a poetry club, anything, just give the dude something new to do, everyone in the fandom loves him.
