Video hasn't been out long enough for people to watch and the haters are commenting. Wow. Yeah, the first tune is highly repetitive but the 2nd one is highly melodic. And it gets better. If you're mad that he got a write up in a guitar mag comparing him to Satch you're mad at the writer, right? I'm not judging anyone just pointing out what all us musicians hope for, people to listen long enough to see if they like it. I guess not everyone feels that way. Wish him well and just glad to see guitar music still alive.

It’s good to hear some guitar music with a hook to grab onto. I personally love that repetitive part. Sammy is a killer player and humble as well. I love his music.

i like the dedication to his tapping techniques, that takes time, as a musician at one time I started to play the fretboard with my toes because of a cut on my left hand left me learning the toe technique for months, lol

i guess im more of a stevie ray Vaughn kind of guy, raised up in cream j.hendrix, b.b.king, muddy Waters and all the 33 and 45,s my dad had plus ACDC iron maiden also all the 70,s 80s,90,s stuff i like to play,,,, with a different appeal to hard Rock/ power blues and more from the soul then technics, this style is learned more then a deep expression of the soul and more of an impression of the style ,, just my opinion,,good stuff though,, 54 yrs of playing here

Not bad at all. A few kind of generic chord progressions here and there. Overall some pretty good technical playing. I don't think it's the most interesting of the genre but it's definitely listenable for sure.

He's playing Roses for the Dead slow as hell and still can't play it right... What a noob! (I'm joking, but seriously, the first songs tappy bit.. It's suspiciously close to Roses for the Dead by Funeral for a Friend....)
