You don't think he wouldn't of been naming and shaming fellow members when looking at multiple life sentences? people make deals when looking at 15 years hard time, but only someone whos done time would understand this. The feds had been after Gotti for years, His media attention and persona brought attention to cosa nostra like no other. It doesn't matter if you rat on one guy or 32, The rules are the rules and im pretty sure Sammy like any made guy is aware of them.. The thing i find funny in these comment sections, Is how people like yourself try justify whos the bigger rat is or who they respect more. When none of you's have even lived that lifestyle and probably have never even spent 2months in jail lead alone looking at multiple life sentences.. Half the people who make these comments probably live life avoiding confrontations and have never even been in a street fight. Sammy the bull has achieved more than probably most of us ever will put together. He worked his way up through ranks of one of the most powerful mafia family's in America and probably the world and living that lifestyle for decades while running multi-million dollar construction companies, he lived a life of crime and he's still alive at 76 years of age.

@@upstate315er2 Sammy was caught on an FBI bug in his office. They had all sorts of stuff on him. He was just never caught talking about John. Later, in the 90s, Sammy was caught on bugs in his office, in his own home, and on his cell phone. He was sentenced to 20 years. All the bosses during the 80s were caught on listening devices, bugs, or wiretaps, and they all incriminated themselves on those recordings, and they all went to prison. It happened all over the country, from Kansas City, to LA, to Vegas, to Milwaukee, to Chicago, and all over the east coast. He's justified it in his own mind because a human being would have to either do that to cope, or outright apologize for the last 30 years. Hes not going to do the latter at this point in his life. John gotti, was trailer trash with a gun and no morals of any kind! I hope he suffered tremendously in prison, along with his trashy family. At least Sammy has feelings, maybe not morals, but feelings about what he was involved in, the oath he took meant something to him. Not the pos gotti.

@@chucklou118 if the oath meant something to him he wouldn't have turned rat 😂 Gotti may have been dumb etc but he never snitched on anyone. He could have made a deal and took the entire mafia down. What did he do? Kept his mouth shut and did his time. And he's not on youtube running his mouth about everything now after the fact either 🤷

I love how he tries to justify what he did. I guess it makes him feel better about what he did but he didn’t just flip on gotti because when you tell you gotta tell it all and tell on everyone about everything you know. That’s the problem. Gotti might have back stabbed you but in return you told on him and everyone else who had nothing to do with it. That’s where the rat in you lives.

There's an old saying it takes a village to raise a kid for Giuliani or anybody to say it's your parents that's not true everybody is a product of their environment a product of their culture and the people they are around day to day Sammy is 100% right you can't talk about people's mother's and father's and say them things because a lot of people have good mother's good father's were raised with love and taught right from wrong but that has nothing to do with how a person can turn out your a product of your environment and the people you hang with on the streets and what's around you that goes for everybody everywhere

There was a clip on YT once of some older Black man that did time with Gotti that says he knew him pretty well. He claims (no idea of its veracity obviously) Gotti said something to the effect that if his kid getting hit had been just an accident, there would have been no retribution, but apparently his neighbor, who hit and killed his son, had a habit of driving around the neighborhood too fast and had been asked to be more careful and slow it down driving in the neighborhood, so that's why he's no longer around. Once again, I obviously have no idea if the story is true, and I have a hard time thinking Gotti would ever speak to anyone outside of the family about it, but it was an obscure interview with an older man who seemed pretty sincere, and not the ramblings of someone with his own podcast or channel looking to promote himself, so who knows?
