The comments on other videos are hilarious. Something along the lines of Joe can't play Ed's stuff. Pretty sure he's doing fine while also playing the tunes with his own spin.

@@user-fg1gb4hb9l It’s the other way around actually. EVH would need to have spent more time learning Joe’s catalog. Love Ed, but Joe is the better all-around player. Joe is also more versatile and musically inclined and can read music. But putting that aside, this is about honoring Ed’s contributions to music one last time. Paul Gilbert would have been another great choice. But Joe is already familiar with the rest of the band, so logically……

Joe is not a band guitar, he is soloist, he barely play rhitmic guitar. Eddie was better as rhitmic player than a solo guitar player
