It wasn't Dean and Sam knew that. Besides, Sam hurt Dean in S 9 with words, more than anyone could. And Dean didn't kill himself.

+Visky ile Dean If I may, I would like to say something to that dialogue in "The Purge". Because I feel this too often gets misunderstood in the fandom. Sam wanted to be at peace. They've both been through so much, and although they always pull through somehow, it has left them broken beyond repair. When Sam was ready to die after for the sake of closing the gates of hell, and after that, he was ready to move on and finally be at peace. Because the angels promised to both of them that if they died, they would get their legtimate place in heaven for all the good they have done for the world. Sam wanted that, and he earned it, and Dean took that away from him because he couldn’t bear to be alone. I can't blame Dean for that, because Sam is really the only constant in his life and they both depend on each other so much that they don't know how to live alone. But nevertheless, Dean's decision to let Gadreel possess Sam WAS a selfish act, and that is exactly why Sam said what he said. That, same circumstances, he wouldn't do the same. He didn't mean that he doesn’t love Dean and need him just as much as Dean loves and needs him. He meant that he could never do the selfish act of violating the other's bodily autonomy after stealing that well-earned rest from him. He would never take that slice of paradise away from Dean, because he loves him too much. He would let him rest, and even if it killed him, he would be okay because he knew Dean would be at peace. He would want Dean to be okay, and as long as he could hold on to that, he would find a way to live with it. Dean took these words the wrong way. He heard "I wouldn’t" as in "I wouldn’t save you". But Sam meant more than that. Dean didn't understand this because he was too focused on those words that he couldn’t put himself in Sam's position and understand what he really wanted to say. And they never talked that situation out afterwards, so this has left a permanent stain on their relationship. Demon Dean used all that guilt and that anger to hurt Sam exactly where he knew it would hurt the most, because Sam still feels guilty for every time he feels he failed Dean. He even feels guilty for many things that are not his fault and not his choice, such as the death of their mother and the fact that their dad raised them in a way that made them so totally dependant on eachother that Dean never had a childhood and even an own life. And as irrational as it is, Sam blames himself for that and Demon Dean uses that to hurt him. So I find it really impressive that Sam stayed so strong and determined all the way and managed to save Dean in the end.

Barbara Kmet It was Deanmon Dean never gave up on Sam either and even when he choose Ruby over him and even when Sam told him terrible things he sacrifices everything for Sam Dean fought harder then anyone else he takes care all his family more then himself he was a good soldier for protecting them he gives up on everything for them

Seriously, I think I understand you 100% and totally agree with what you're saying and what you're trying to say about Dean and Sam and their relationship and their change of dynamic after Season 9 and what not. ;)

I don't think he'll die but I do think Dean might do something he'll feel guilty over. Dean may hurt him or something.

it's not tragic!it was harvesting what you planet!I was waiting for worse things after what happened in season 9 and dealing with demon Dean only for 3 episodes was the greatest disappointment!he should've been the demon for at least half of the season!I would gladly watch it!it was Dean's turn to break everyone'e heart but they didn't give him this chance
