We start our day with a visit to a local café for Lisbon's famous Pastel de Nata, known here as Pastéis de Belém, a delightful treat loved by locals and visitors alike.
For lunch, we savor traditional dishes like cod, a crispy fried squid sandwich, and a delightful seafood sampler platter. No trip to Lisbon is complete without experiencing the city's vibrant food scene.
We couldn’t miss out on a tram ride through the city's narrow, winding streets, where every turn reveals colorful tiles and stunning architecture.
As the day winds down, we'll take in panoramic views of the city from São Jorge Castle (Castelo de São Jorge). It is a historic castle located on a hilltop in the Alfama district, offering panoramic views of Lisbon and the Tagus River. Built in the medieval period, São Jorge Castle is one of the city's most iconic landmarks and a key historical site to visit when exploring Lisbon.

I lived in Portugal for eight years on the Azores islands, and had never made it to mainland Portugal as a teen. Finally went with my wife in 2019 and absolutely loved it. We got to try a few of the spots that you visited great video and very informative. All the best. We’re in Canada, but both my wife and I have Portuguese roots.

Pasteis de Belem is the I believe is the best Portuguese tart., it's just has the perfect consistency and not to runny/creamy as Pasteis de Nata. And they give it to you FRESH/Hot.

you should try " pasteis de tentugal" around Coimbra. Very, very good!!!!! In Portugal, we have lots of pastries and sweets created by monks. Most of them are simply delicious!!!

I did 5 and it was perfect. Allowed for 3 days around Lisbon, 1 for Cascais, and 1 for Sintra (then a few more days in Lagos after). Was a perfect 8 days in Portugal before heading to Spain :)
