It hurts so terribly to hear a baby crying in pain too. This poor puppy; she’s really hurting. You can see by the way she is walking, she’s in extreme discomfort.

I love how he tested the instruments on the owner to show her how it felt. The owner seemed worried and anxious about her dog being in pain, so it was a great way to inform her about what he was doing and reassuring her. Great bedside manners, both with his animal patients and their caretaker.

That poor, beautiful dog. The screams were hard to see her in pain so much of the time, especially when the owner said she never cries normally. It looked so horribly painful 😢 There have some some severe animal cases on the channel now. Really nice to see her make progress.

Another thing is that the harness is to small/ill fitting and restricting her movements in her head, neck, shoulders and front legs. If you compare a video with her wearing the harness and without the harness you can see the difference in her posture and overall ease of movement with her front legs. We had this problem with my husky even though the store employee said it was the right size the harness we had was just a little to tight and we could adjust it any larger. We ended up getting the next size larger and it made the world of a difference.

I recommend a Neewa harness. She's a sled/draft dog breed type. The Neewa harness sits lower on the shoulders so there's less strain on the upper back.

It’s moments like these where we are very thankful and grateful for your talents. This poor baby’s screams were so hard to listen to and tug at the heart. Aria was in some incredible pain there. The adjustments were a lot to process for her but so worth it. Do you think she might have had a pinched nerve along with the misalignments? Nice heartwarming video. Thanks!

Mt dog gets canine chiropractic adjustment treatment every 2 weeks. She was paralyzed from IVDD for 10 months in 2021. She has regained her ability to walk, and regained her continence, Chiropractic has been a god-send in giving her back a decent quality of life. ❤

Amazing! My dog had an episode just like this where he couldn’t turn his neck to the left or right. We aren’t sure what he did, but it was after zoomies and he’s a crazy rat terrier. We are lucky to have an amazing animal chiropractor near us and she was able to get him back on track. He goes regularly every 6 weeks to keep his neck and spine in good working order since he’s nine years old but still acts like a crazy pup. We also do range of motion or cookie stretches and massage as well. He’s doing fabulous but man, neck pain is the worst in dogs. You feel so helpless and every little movement causes excruciating pain. So grateful there are animal chiropractors out there to keep our pets moving correctly😊

Oh my gosh! Poor baby! 😢. She seemed to be doing so much better, and sometimes the treatment hurts, but healing makes it worth it! ❤. I had to put my earbuds in to watch this because my dogs went crazy when they heard the yelps!😊. Thanks for sharing!

I agree. There's something wrong with the harness. For draft/sled dogs, I recommend a Neewa harness. It sits lower on the shoulders so there's less strain on the upper back.

Poor Aria! I can imagine how much this poor beauty hurt until you were able to see her, Dr. Doug. Hearing her sing the song of her people whenever you touched her tender spots brought tears to my eyes. She looked so much better after her session, and I know she must be feeling better. I was thinking, is that harness she wears not (part of) the problem? Not an expert, but it looks like it restrains the dog. Or maybe she wants to struggle out of it some times, and then forces something to go wrong? If I put myself in the dogs place, I probably would like the thing to go, and move fully free around.

The groomer didn't tell me she injured my dogs neck. I found a large clotted contusion as soon as I picked her up. She fained not knowing what happened.

Aww, Aria looks like a very young kid, so sweet. I guess, that she also felt quite a bit unsure about what would happen there. Good, you could find the reason for her pain. So you could help her and you also tryed to help her so carefully.🙏😍

I love how he explains everything and then how when he uses his tools to aid him in his chiropractic work, he used on her to show her and to let her know what is being used on their dog in front of them and that the procedure is safe. I love watching a dogs smile reveal itself after they have recovered or have felt that relief of pain they were experiencing.

I had a Sammy in the past that got stung in the middle of a field. I had to carry him home! He was crying just like this pup! They are very vocal when hurting.

I just want to say a massive thank you. I know you are a animal chiropractor but from listening to your vids i was able to persuade my specialists to help re my back pain issues which i have had since 2014. Turns out i was right, i had subluxed my l4 or l5 vertebrate as well as both sij's which had also rotated out of position. Its been a month since my chiro managed to put it back in place with injections from my spine specialist. I have not had to take any pain meds in over a month! In the last 9 years i have never been able to not take pain meds because of the excrutiating pain but now i dont need them and i am feeling so much better for it. Thank you for making these vids. Hope you have an amazing day. ❤

Dr Willen, I’ve never doubted that if anyone could help Aria then it’s definitely you 100%. 👍. You’re definitely right about find it, fix it and leave it alone, to see what’ll happen. Aria is very beautiful reminds me of my brother in law’s all white Pomeranian dog, especially the fur. Incredible work and really appreciate you explain what you do & where in the spine, neck and head you are working - Aria was in pain but I also noticed her baby like quality of when she was near you she anticipated the pain and cried before you touched her at times - she must have been hurting to do that as when you did adjust her the cries were even louder. Fabulous work from you on a beautiful dog. 🐾 😊
