I don’t know how much of this chop is actually his work, but those hi-hat cymbals are signature Jermaine Dupri. Check out the video where he explains how he made the “June 27th freestyle” beat. He sampled a Biggie song and added a bass line from an 80s band, and it’s been re-sampled so many times now.
