My current faves Obsidian (built into nanostudio 2) Volt Continua Zeeon Animoog Z Mononoke ( Like a software Lyra-8 drone synth) DRC Ripplemaker (a cool west coast modular app) Hilda FRMS DRAMBO (more of a modular environment but amazing anyway) Ruismaker NOIR (basically a moog DFAM in app form)

Hey Jon. Big Fan since i saw your Rhythm Roulette back in the day. You're the only person i've ever seen who owns an Octatrak product. Assuming that you've worked with many other pieces of hardware, given your background, would you recommend it based on the price?

Such a vibe, as always! I use a Mpc2000XL, and would like to record my MicroKorg on it. Except with midi, what could be my options to play the beat with the Mpc, while I sample the MicroKorg? If someone has a tip, it would be much appreciated. Cuz I can't play the sequences and sample as the same time...

record your drum sequence in the mpc, and just freestyle some chords on the microkorg while your beats looping - then record that into the mpc and chop it? or use your pads as a midi trigger for the microkorg if thats possible?
