Samplitude Pro X : Creating Tempo Changes

This tutorial shows you how to create tempo changes in Samplitude Pro X. Specifically it shows you how to speed up or slow down passages of music. You can do this by inserting tempo change markers or by using the new tempo track.

I'm not familiar with group FX tracks concept as I don't use Cubase. In Samplitude you can save FX presets for individual tracks. Also you can route multiple tracks to a bus and then put FX on the bus.

Hi Liri, You can time stretch audio objects but a Warp type feature isn't yet included although I think they are working on that feature for the future. Regards Kraznet

I have a question ..Is there group fx track in samplitude?I mean one chain of fx for several tracks..As for example in Cubase..Thank you for your video.I like samplitude more and more through to you.

Hi there, This is a new feature in Samplitude Pro X so it's not available in Samplitude 11 Pro I'm sorry. Regards Kraznet

Kraznet, how do you make these tempo changes and keep track automation all at musical positions? i find the track automation maintains it's absolute (time) position and i can't get it to move with the grid so it ends up out of sync...

Hi Tal, I just tested this and it's working fine here. If I open the Matrix I can see the tempo changes syncing with the arrange page. So I'm not quite sure why it's not working for you. Are the tempo markers showing in the Matrix? If you still having problems PM me. Regards Kraznet

Hi Craznet, I'm using Tempo map in several songs and having problems with synching the Matrix view to the arrange view. it seems as though the matrix editor ignores the tempo changes and plays through. did you experience anything of the sort?
