Samplitude Pro X3: Creating a 16 track mono recording template

multi-track audio recording session using 16 mono inputs. For this to work you will need an audio interface with 16 mono inputs. You can adapt this method based on how many available inputs you have on your audio interface.This tutorial should work with all versions of Samplitude and Sequoia.

Hi Kraznet, I have tried this on my version of Sam which is the same as shown in the video (checked your version), however I am unable to select all tracks while holding the shift key. With the mixer out I have to select all tracks from the number at the bottom of the fader. Am I missing an update. my software says no updates available. Thanks for your sterling work.

Hi Dave, If you're talking about selecting tracks in the main arrange page you click on the name field of the top track and then shift click the name field of the bottom track. All tracks in between should be selected. As far as doing the same in the mixer, clicking in the name field at the bottom of the channel does the same. I'm not quite sure why clicking on the channel header doesn't work in your case. You should also be able to left click in the narrow area right at the top of the channel strip above the number 1 and shift click in the same area of mixer channel 16 and all in between will be selected. This is not a new behaviour as it's worked in the original version of Pro X and I just checked and it's working in Samplitude V11 as well and probably even earlier versions although I don't have them installed.
