Director giving 18 years to the movie but Akshay gave 42days😂😂

Akshay should give proper time to prepare for this character as well as to understand it. We all better know that this is not just a casual Bollywood movie afterall it's a periodic movie based upon the life of Samrat Prithviraj nd it demands dedication.

That's why Shahid Ajay Ranveer Hrithik did justice to their role because they gave proper time ❤️

Akshay should have to prepare it physically and mentally also...

As a fan of Akshay Kumar I feel (my personal opinion) that he has become overconfident about his acting skill and stardom power. Ofcourse, he has improved his acting skill and stardom over time but now it feels that he took it for granted. He choose anykind of film now which gives him enough pay and lost his iconic acting skills somewhere. As a Fan of Akshay Kumar I totally feel disappointed.

We mainly don't get the vibe of a young king from Akshay, which as a lover of history, I always had of prithviraj chauhan.

Rajat Tokas played the best Prithviraj Chauhan in the TV serial.

I was sure akshay could never do justice to this legendary icon….

I haven't seen the film yet but from the trailer i can tell one thing that you are true about is Akshay lacks conviction as Prithviraj Chauhan.

I think movie should be made in two parts first parts about journey of how he became a great Samrat and second part about his final days. One movie is not enough to cover the legend.

Is loud dialogue delivery necessary to portray a king on a big screen? Obviously not, as Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi ji said in an interview regarding the dialogue delivery of Akshay as Samrat Prithviraj, that Samrat Prithviraj himself was very calm and coolheaded, not aggressive in nature. So how could he deliver those dialogues in aggression.

I am really impressed by Aashutosh Sir and Manav Vij's performances rest was watchable no complaint. Can be watched once.

I have watched vikram movie today it's a great presentation of story Surya's entry scene literally give me goosebumps. It's was great cinema experience. I am not giving spoiler but one thing is that loki sir has created a big universe story was as well linked with kaithi movie.

After this review I'm very disappointed with the film makers even though i haven't watched the movie yet, as Prithviraj was a true legend and one of the greatest warrior India ever had.....By watching some of the scenes of this movie in the review I'm quite clear that if the character of prithvi raj was played by some other actors it would be much better to connect with the storyline and characters, even though akshay is a great actor but he is not a good choice for such characters i think......... It's just my opinion, akshay fans please don't get offend...... And still I'm going to watch the movie for the greatest warrior cum legend# Samraat Prithviraj

Bro even Kesari was a completely different film for Akshay and He has given a stand out performance there and we know he could have done this role like any other King role with heavy voice and aggression but acc. to History and the director himself Prithviraj was a Calm and composed personality so how can you depict him with aggression and rudeness

I honestly believe either Prabhas, Rana Daggubati or Ranveer could have effortlessly pulled of this role

Guys I just finished this movie.The great king Prithviraj doesn't deserve this average movie. Neither there were good VFX nor full war. U should watch but pls don't overexpect! Merely a good climax doesn't mean good movie too.

Imagine a story like Samrat Prithviraj that many film lovers were waiting for and not getting good response at the box office. Epic movies need big budget and good dedicated team having multiple sessions before the shooting. This movie disappointed audience. Direction, action, characters and their performances can captivate with good visuals and BGM. When one of these pillars fails, the other should’ve held the overall movie. But it appears multiple pillars failed not in one but many scenes. When that happens you lose the audience that walked into the theater with expectations. The word of mouth fails to generate the buzz. That’s the end of a movie. There should be passion among the team for the movie as a whole.

Vi definitely Manushi and Manav Vij has delivered on point as much as it could have convinced the script but the performances from Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar were also very convincing and I am afraid better than Akshay Kumar in this case!!!!! I think in the current scenario even if Akshay dree inspiration from his contemporaries in the likes of Shahid, Ranveer or Hrithik..... It would have worked for him..... Honestly watching him made me feel like I am watching Arjun Kapoor's monotonous acting in period drama Panipat

Manav Vij is a really great actor he has worked across Hindi and Punjabi films and all of his performances are great in the film DSP Dev not a great film but I really liked the performance of Manav Vij in it he played a perfect villain in it.

I remember in my childhood days I saw Prithviraj Chauhan drama series on TV and I can easily say it was far better than the movie ... That actor and rest of the cast did justice to their roles and everything was on point

So, it's another ' ok-ok ' film by akshay kumar after bachchan pandey. But, the problem is that it's a biopic on the greatest hindu king. So, the film should have been better. Better if Chandraprakash dwivedi had just written it and SLB just directed it.

I did'nt like the movie because they did'nt show the history properly. they showed that in the 2nd war Prithviraj lost but there were total 3 major battles. This movie was containing lot of dialogues which were interesting but in many scenes Prithviraj and his other soldiers could easily speak and understand urdu words. The scriptwriter should have read history properly. It is shown that Ghori attacked them at night and no soldier was there to guard at night, even if there was a 5 year old child he would have placed some soldiers to guard at night. It shows that Chand Bardai met ghori but ghori did'nt know him that's why he could save Prithviraj. Dont watch this movie , instead you can watch other documentaries based on it.

The biggest culprit here is the casting director who thought Akshay and Manushi were the right choices for this movie. Isse achha toh Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh, even Siddharth Malhotra ko le lete.

A war has many political and diplomatic scenarios but only one cause is shown if you dig deep about it you will yourselves find that the cause shown for both the battle of terrain are are minor and imidiate ones. It is same thing like only cause for revolt of 1857 was Mangal Pandey and greased cartilages. Is this an 18 years of research ( of doctor C.P diwedi) or a movie after watching a few KZfaq shorts and long video, give your thoughts about it . This happens when you treat a periodic story character like your other 3 film characters of the year. You have to give time to practice, so you can become that character entirely. Maybe the stardom is the main reason here as Akshay thought he can perform any warrior role just with serious looks. Also, no one from the cast has told him to give more effort to his act. At least he should understand the mindset of Prithviraj by reading about him.

Was going to book tickets today but I think I should wait for it to release on ott, the problem with Akshay is that he is releasing a film every 2 months, and due that his acting performance us kind of degrading, let's hope he makes his best in the next film.

And the most interesting fact is Akshay very proudly says on tkks that he never prepares for his characters. Because he can work on another film instead of preparing for a character.

Okay , I know many of you won't agree with me but I just loved this movie , especially the last 30 minutes. I would be so wrong if I said that I didn't cry watching this movie. The Special effects (apart from some scenes) , the BGM , the performances ( specially sonu sood and sanjay dutt ) and moreover the extraordinary vision of Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi just elevated this film to a whole different level. Akshay kumar I thought was okay but during the last 30 minutes , he was just fireeee ... 🔥🔥🔥 Overall , I really enjoyed Prithviraj to be honest. It was a really great experience for me ..

Chahe vo actor ho ya director... Or vo kehte hai na ki greatness takes time... But they didn't realise or unhone chalte chalte ye movie bana di jese ki ek aam se comedy banti hai.... And specially akshay sir.... Actually unhe iss kahani ko time zarur dena chiye tha or iss charter ko pura krne k liye bahot zayada efforts dene chiye the.... Jesa ki humbe bahubali main prabhas or padmawati main shahid ko dekha..... In actors or directors ne apna best diya and results are in front of us.......

Sad thing is that audience is more excited to see movies like KGF which promote terrorism. Full of over the top scenes. Anyone is going into parliament n shooting no resistance nothing which doesn't make any sense. If a 5 year old watches KGF then what will that child learn.. That how to kill person.. How to be dominant over woman.. How to be a gangster. But if that same child watches movies like Samrat prithviraj then atleast that child will learn something about history. But our audience is so toxic that they are not realizing the fact. Most of the reviews in you tube also like that Filmi indian finds n says only negative points. So that movie fails. It is my request that if someone has made mind to watch these movie then pls go n watch it .. If possible watch with ur friend n family. It is a knowledgeable movie too. Don't come in the trap of fake reviewers, they are just doing so becoz thry are gaining it by doing such thing. If this kind of movie fails then Bollywood will have Obvious reasons to make movies like Heropanti 3 , SOTY, etc. I think there are still some sensible audience left.
