In this video you will see the progress of package-13 of Nagpur Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg.
This Nagpur Mumbai Samruddhi Mahamarg Package 13 will open for public from 4th March 2024 onwards.
The Samruddhi Mahamarg or Nagpur-Mumbai Expressway (officially known as Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg) and Maharashtra Expressway-2 (ME-2), is a partially opened 6-lane wide (expandable to 8), 701-km long access-controlled expressway in Maharashtra, India. Which connects the two capital cities of the state, its capital, Mumbai, and its third-largest and alternate capital city, Nagpur.The project is being led by the state infrastructure arm Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC)

When you cover any interchange, please also cover it's connectivity with existing road. Like igatpuri interchange, where it connect to mumbai Nashik highway and how traffic is managed.

@jaideep kane:the structure which u mention as ROB in this video are actually (VOP) vehicular over pass not ROB.Just because they look same you cannot call them by same name.All structures have different purpose.If you really want know these structures better,read IRC 5.

Exactly. ROB is Railway Over Bridge. This is when the package goes over a railway line. VOP is vehicular over pass in which the package goes normally on the ground and smaller or other road crosses over the package in a bridge. By the way, great video.

When main package crosses another road, above that other road with bridge that could be a box like one or on piers, its called an Underpass. It could be a CUP,SVUP or VUP according to the width and height of the underpass. When the main package goes at normal height on the ground and the other road goes above the main package, its called an overpass. Could be bridge type or box type. A viaduct is a land bridge that connects two places that have a huge elevation difference in the distance between them. Eg. connecting two hills with a big deep valley between them or connecting the top of a hill and bottom valley through a bridge when the height drop is very sudden. Helps the heavy vehicles carrying loads to travel by reducing or removing steep climbs.
