Tim Pool Blames Antifa For Ohio Train Derailment Disaster

Tim Pool speculates that the Ohio train Derailment, as well as the recent attacks on power substations in North Carolina, weren't at all accidental and may have been coordinated. Pool suggests that his viewers in response to this should purchase more guns.
In another clip, Tim reacts to reporting that there are more train derailments then ever before, but says that people are "losing their collective minds over this" only because social media exists, and there are more news alerts to derailments.

There’s something about some people that believe that when they are talking, those fortunate enough to be listening are amazed at the thoughtfulness and brilliance that they bring. It’s full of pauses, and feigned introspection, that when something deathly serious is brought into it, the intended listener(of Pool or whomever)likely forgets that it didn’t make any sense, and remember the heroics, the sadness, or weight, different than those of us who see it for it’s obvious blathering

We’ve discovered in this modern era of conditioning, many viewerships like Pool, Rogan, Brand, Jimmy Dore, Greenwald, Taibbi and Iversen, they let things pass by believing that they’re all fighting the big bad institutions and mainstream media. A friend of mine listens to Pool, but not those that correct his bad faith record. Until Pool says something that questions his viewership’s narratives, he can say whatever he wants.

How to have lots of train derailments: 1. Make sure the p.way is an archaic scrapheap, with ubiquitous wooden sleepers, not much welded rail and nary a "yellow banana" (measurement and fault detection train) in sight. 2. What you run on it should be 1950s technology rolling stock, with cast block brakes and rigging or bogeys rarely inspected, let alone overhauled. Don't run 1950s loads, though. No, no, triple or quadruple those and make sure there are numerous tanker trucks with dangerous loads rather than the open coal wagons or flatbeds carrying timber, etc. for which the system was designed.

Ex-Aircraft Mechanic here: you would be veeeery alarmed at how middle management pushes workers to “get the job done” and then put an asterisks by lightly saying but do it safe. It is better than it used to be but man there is a lot of wiggle room where the only thing preventing tragedy is integrity but also when you are pulling 14hour shifts every day for years and years maybe you could forget something. There are redundancy checks but it still heaaaavily relies on humans. Bravado can sometimes overrule safety.

The ten billion Norfolk Southern spent on stock buybacks can be considered profit, irrespective of how the company decides to book it. It was clearly not any type of operational cost (materials, wages, etc.). Stock buybacks are entirely optional. Its executives could have decided to spend only say, 7 billion on stock buybacks, with the remaining 3 billion going towards updating the trains' braking systems, maintenance, and wages, but no. The company milked every penny it could at everyone else's expense. This is why capitalism needs guardrails.

My dad has been with Union Pacific for going on 30 years and I've done some training with BNSF and I can tell you that all the safety regulations in place are written in blood because they don't implement new rules unless someone gets severely hurt or dies. I watched BNSF take out a whole crew of 3 and give that work to another crew adding more opportunities for an incident instead of having 2 separate jobs done the safest way possible.

I think Pool in some ways is worse than many in the right wing echo chamber, in large part because the claim is he's not part of it. He puts out many of the same messages constantly bouncing around the far right echo chamber, but his response is always that he's impartial and that is just coincidence. As Emma says he's a fence sitter but I think he always has more of his body to the right. Where the money is. We know from the Steve Crowder blowout with the Daily Wire the incredible amount of money flying around to the right. Tim Pool is getting his cut as well.

@@thechief043 He's certainly right leaning though. He's on board with the right in claiming that most if not all LGBTQ people are pedophiles which is getting people killed. He's now fully on board with the gun lobby and is attacking any gun laws that restrict people from acquiring guns. He's ignoring the real domestic terrorism threat which is from violent right wing groups and blaming "antifa" which isn't even a coherent group, it's a principle uniting a number of groups most of them committed to peaceful protest. He has his own style on how he presents the core right wing attack profile, but in the end it is the very same attack as most on the right. Which has now reached the point of open fascism. What it comes down to, is when someone starts railing against antifa then they are pretty much declaring they are fascists. Because that is all antifa means, someone who is opposed to fascism. Tim Pool is a fascist so of course he is going to blame the "left" for any problems there are in the world.

His family was prosperous enough to have a car, so they could drive from Philadelphia into the surrounding countryside on a Sunday. But they had to take food with them as there was nowhere they could stop for lunch. Once they left the city, there was nowhere which would serve Jews. Neither did some places in the city, but they knew the places which would. As Chomsky points out, it was much worse for Black people.

@@floepiejane Visually, it is most definitely dated, with "this was made in the 70's" stamp all over it, and a product of its time. The story has more holes than a piece of swiss cheese and the acting is a bit touch and go, but that doesn't get in the way of a fairly entertaining movie. From an anthropology view, it is a satisfying watch. As a popcorn movie, you won't come away disappointed.
