Resumindo: TVs só evoluem de verdade, só de dez em dez anos, e no momento a tecnologia de tvs estagnou.

Cara, HDR é uma tecnologia que funciona em conjunto com a TV. Se trata de metadados, que dizem ao seu televisor como exibir a imagem propriamente. Se seu aparelho não entrega um bom contraste, nível de preto, color gamut e nits o suficiente, não haverá muito diferença se comparado ao conteúdo SDR. Testando na minha TV, Q60t, a diferença chega a ser gritante em alguns filmes. Isso pq há modelos bem superiores... Resumindo, a função em si não funciona se sua televisão não for apita a entregar o necessário.

También soporta, la función FreeSync con tasa de refresco variable si juegas en PC o con la Xbox One. Lo único, esto sólo está disponible en los tamaños de 55 pulgadas para arriba. @@micdoses1 you wanna know how i know this? It's because i had an OLED C8 by LG, that easily was very dim and when ABL kicks in, 150 nits full window+ i got a horrible burn in. Now i own the Q95T..

@@technologylover540 and im playing 50% games with HUD on my C9 OLED since over a year, but with reduced brightness ofc, and no burn in (or better pixel degradation/burn out...) yet. I had with my plasma once burn ins because of "24/7" CoD gaming, luckily they were gone after around 20-30hrs regular usage again. At least the OLED is much brighter than my Plasma i have since over 10 years already, ofc very bright HDR content is not as enjoyable in bright rooms, but a little bit darkened room and the OLED is still fine for it. And i dont see any sense in paying around 2000$ for a cheap, with "QD" tuned LCD panel and bright, overdriven backlight when i can have a C9 OLED for 1100$ in the same size, even proper Gsync support and a much better display for gaming and anything else anyways (less smearing, better motion handling, superior latency, still perfect contrast in gaming-modes, nice AI upscaler, much better and faster Smart TV features with less or no Ads, ...) If a Q60 or 70 would be priced more fair OR would be equipped with proper local dimming, i would have bought something like this, Q80 and higher are too expensive for its "poor" package you get for so the decision was easy for me: OLED :) As soon OLEDs are mature in some years or better technologies, i hope for something like MicroLED or however they are called and the actual OLED is already too "outdated", i will go for this and hope i have again a TV for the next 10-15 years or even more. The only other option would have been a RU8009 for example, but that would have been "only" like 2/3 of the OLEDs price for a cheap, cloudy, even worse picture than my 2009/2010 Plasma TV (for 500€ in 2010....)

LOL I remember back in the late 2000s when 720 and 1080p were becoming the standard, there were people saying that they werent going to upgrade to 1080 TVs because "Its too much detail", "I dont need to see wrinkles and sweat on peoples faces, I'm sticking with my tube/projector TV".
