Yeah, I don’t really get it either. The only thing I can think of is with a worse camera setup, no fingerprint sensor and Micro USB port, they put that extra money in a better processor

I bought a used A03 Core without even looking things up. Honestly ok with it after watching this. I don't mind the lack of biometrics, but I definitely will miss USB C. Been using a beat up 2017 Samsung that barely works for like 7 months now and it's only gotten less functional. A more simple phone for cheap is pretty good for my clumsy ass 😂 I will be getting a proper new phone at the end of the year or if the A03 core dies in the field of battle, aka my bedroom

I bought the a03 a couple of months ago. It had some serious touch issues more specifically unwanted touch issues. I would scroll down a page but it would unintentionally open links on the page. I would basically tap on something but something else would open up. An update a couple of weeks ago fixed it mostly. It still lags a bit but it is much better. The update said says security patch but fixed the problem. So I am happy with the a03 for the price with the familiar one ui and very good battery life.

@NO USE FOR A NAME $125 and that was before all this crazy inflation started. Now that one is selling for $146. Everything just keeps rising in price. Even budget phones are not budget anymore. We as ordinary people are suffering.

I already bought samsung A02s, actually it's a good phone to use. I have using it for more than 1 year and the performance is still good, although there will be some lags after i updated to android 12 but i still like it.

Its a stupid question but the launcher of the A03 Core looks different (8:15). Its a vertical app drawer. Is it spectial to the software it has (Android go i guess) or can you do that in regular OneUI? Because a lot of people (and me) wants vertical app drawer in the default launcher. This is the only reason I dont use the regular launcher.

In Brazil we have mainly micro ports on the phones, however i did not see the A03s for sale here, i bought a A03 today and the screen is huge , perfect for gps (i work for uber), as a lower cost phone i would say it is a perfect choice for the regular user or even for kids that like online games and vids.. for me it actually better than my old J7 duo and better than my iphone SE, but that is mainly because of price v's screen size

In some markets the regular A03 comes with the same chip as the A03 core maybe thats why the A03s has that chip to be just better than the other more limited A03

South Africa is still alright with the charging port for the A03 core(I use it tbh). But the charging port for phone such as the A13 are still coming hot since there are more buyers for such phones, I'm also considering of getting that when my A03 core gets worn out

To be honest, it is just much better to get an used iPhone from a couple years ago compared to this. At least they used to be flagships. You can get a refurbished iPhone 8 Plus for just 100 dollars. It got 1080p display, telephoto lens, and even 4k60 video recording. This thing compared to the A03 Core is just so much better, especially when it have a lovely fingerprint sensor.

People who buy old model and refurbished iPhones are posers to me. There's the screen that's a tell-tale sign you're using an older model and I've never met a person using a refurbished or older model iPhone that had it working perfectly. It may be possible to buy an old phone that's even unsupported for updates. Why would you want a slow glitchy thing just for the camera? DSLRs exist! Get yourself an actual camera if it's a camera you need. Besides, I'm all about the user experience, not the brand. I don't think that refurbished junk lasts more than a year. You're wasting money when you could get something that would last 3years or more. An expensive brand is a symbol of financial freedom, don't be stuck collecting symbols instead of actually becoming financially free.

Here in the States carriers are giving the A03s for free or better. My carrier effectively paid me $75 to take one. I keep a prepaid TracFone - Verizon line open because there are still places around here where it's the Verizon network or nothing. TracFone's year airtime card is $125 by itself while they regularly sale the A03s bundled with the same airtime card for $50 through HSN and QVC. I needed to buy the airtime card anyways...

In the end, the Core is the only one of these 3 that makes a bit of sense. For 150 dollars there are tons of better smartphones than the vanilla A03 and the A03s, moto E40 for example.

I bought the ao3s for 55 dollars. I don't like the single speaker. It's not great. The cpu is fine for basic stuff. The camera is OK. I think for 55 dollars it's much better the the snapdragon 425 I was using.

Just watched your video I actually use a03 this is what I watched the video through a very good phone but if you over use it the screen does not recognise your finger is moving in the app so not turn off the phone and turn it on again the screen to start working what you doing on the screen like watching a video is still working but it doesn't recognise your finger on screen

I have the AO3 Core and it sucks😂. Android GO ain't fun and I don't have voice activated Google Assistant or even the "Display over other apps" feature. The camera isn't all that had because I ain't a picture person but I do want to take good pics still. I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone unless you really can't do better or are just looking for a cheap phone to use as backup. *Edit:* It also lacks the ability to use a compass and other features I'd like.

Also freezes, powers itself down and glitches. Also storage space is bogus after 3 months it started showing me the storage space is low. I have deleted pics and all that and I ended up factory resetting and losing a lot of info. It worked fine and again it's back to saying the storage space is almost full.

The A12 costs pretty much the same as the A03s, but because the A03s is slightly cheaper it still sells out, Samsung is basically fooling people with their A series at this point. A12 is good for the price the A03s isn't.

My husband goes for cheaper Samsung phones. He purchased the A03s last night because his present phone had given up the ghost. Opened the box, no charger, and a strange cord with the same plug on both ends. You called it a USBC cord. I’ll have to look that up.

Does Unisoc's modem in both of the non-S A03 models support Verizon? While there's plenty of tablets and Android handheld game consoles running Unisoc SoCs, I can't think of a single phone from any brand that is officially sold here for Verizon's network that runs one. According to Kimovil; both have very limited band support in the US for Verizon especially, but also AT&T and TMobile. In the video they had something showing up on the signal bars, so that's why I'm asking. Speculation; but, perhaps that's why the A03s has a weaker Helio processor? The S is an actual upgrade because Mediatek's World Modem does support Verizon, and every other US carrier, pretty much perfectly. It's got to be much simpler and cheaper for Samsung to just sell one SKU for the US with an SoC packing a modem that was designed to work here then trying to go though the hassle of getting multiple A03 phones certified with the government, getting certified with the various carriers, and getting the third party SoC manufacturer on board with making a US specific variant. I suspect that's why we don't get either the plain or Core A03 models. Minor nitpick of an otherwise great video; I'm not sure why the presenter referred to the Unisoc SoCs in the Core and sans-suffix A03 as TSMC. TSMC are just the people that fabbed the chips for Unisoc, similar to how TSMC and Samsung Foundry fabs Snapdragons for Qualcomm.

I haven't been able to find a user's manual download for the Galaxy A03 have two QVC special AO3 bundles ordered. A03 uses older type charging/transfer USB cable, wonder what actual disadvantage is with old type connector(?)

Samsung core a03 is so bad when it comes to specs. This phone does not do much more than just basic stuff. For instance, no weather and time widget, and it just cannot or does not hotspot at all.

I have xfinity home internet and noticed that they charged me an extra $10 a month on my bill. I have the 1 gb of internet. I did a chat with them and I was on chat for over an hour trying to see what can be done about that bill. They offered their mobile plan which is only available to xfinity customers which if bundled with their internet service can save me $70 a month between my current mobile plan (verizon) and their internet. Well in doing some research, even though xfinity uses verizon towers, their internet speeds from what I have seen can be half of what verizon offers. I am a truck driver and driving state to state, I need all the internet with the best coverage I can get. They then told me the only other option they have is to offer me a phone (samsung a03s) and with that phone and their plan I can save about $6 a month lol. That’s $72 a year so I went ahead a took it. What is interesting is that I already have a samsung phone, the s22 ultra so it would be interesting to compare real world performance between the 2 phones.

I actually just got an AO3 for Christmas AO1 Did well for me so I'm looking forwards to a more updated version such as AO3

The a 03 core is a very good phone it's not cheap but a good price but I would rather the a03

A03 way better than all combined, Smakes no sense if its just close to core in perfomance and camera and its selfie is just bad

Does USB otg work on the a03 ? ( not core not s) It is difficult to trust specs. Even on the samsung website. Only a test will suffice. Its happened before that specs say no and then a test shows yes and vice versa.
