STEP 1: Search youtube A12 power button not working Watch any video that shows how to open the A12 and carefully see the power button and it's cable. We have to open our phone and before opening we need to know how this cable is attached to the plastic panel which we are going to open STEP 2: Open the back cover of your A12 carefully. You will see the power button/fingerprint scanner cable. In my case the cable connector got loose when my phone fell from my hand. My power button and finger print both were not working. So I opened the phone. Then.. STEP 3: Slightly press the connector and see if the power button works. For me after fixing the connector properly power button started working but fingerprint scanner still didn't work. Goto step 4 STEP 4: Restart the phone and check the fingerprint scanner works after restart in my case after restart the scanner started working. STEP 5: Put the back cover back and say Thank GOD. 😍 If it still not working you need to give it to a technician. Or replace the fingerprint sensor with cable if you can do it yourself. I saw a video saying its only 150 rupees. If that is the case you can buy one and just watch any video and you will be able to replace it yourself. I used a knife to open the back panel. Slightly put pressure on any corner towards the plastic side of the phone (plastic back panel). It will open. Then use a credit card to open all locks. Make sure you do not seperate the plastic panel forcefully because there is a cable attached to the power fingerprint button. You might break the cable if you are careless. Take it easy when you open it. All the best.
