Thanks bro. I ordered a replacement screen for my A12 so I was checking out videos on how to swap out just the LCD, but then a whole digitlizer + LCD showed up instead. I wasted about 20 minutes cleaning off the old one XD. Anyways, thanks for the very straightforward and informative how-to. I managed to only do one thing wrong: I forgot the loud speaker as my new digitizer didn't come with one. Had to open it up again and transfer it over and I was all set.

@@PabloEscobar-vr1cf Yep. It's not super dificult. The hardest part was opening up the phone (which is easy if you have a guitar pick or something super thin and flexible). the other thing that was a bit dicey was removing the battery without bending it. putting lots of acetone or surgical alcohol behind the battery and letting it disolve the adhesive makes it easier. i used a credit card to get it out.

hi i have replaced the LCD screen itself not moving any of the other parts, how do you glue the screen back to the phone tho not sure if super glue would be advisable

My A12 has the SM_A022F instead of either SM_A125F or SM_A127F. Are they all compatible? I need to replace the screen, but this is the dilemma. BTW, the model number of my phone is SM-A125U1/DS.

Hi Ollie, I followed all the directions, but when I turned it back on I have no sound. I can't make or receive calls or listen to music. I am connected to the internet though.
