Mine dishes are always dry. The door opens as part of the cycle. This doesn't mean the dishes will be dry. As the steam is released the dishes dry, I think from the residual heat, but it does need a bit more time. (Maybe wash overnight.) I'm very happy with this super quiet washer.

Are you suppose to use both jet dry and the cascade pouch? Or just one or other?

Both. Jet dry helps water sheen away and dishes especially glasses come out crystal clear.

If you open the door while it is running and washing does it restart it over again it seems like it's been running for over an hour
@deannareisman Жыл бұрын
I had issues with opening the door after it starts. I can't recall enough to describe because I don't do it any more. If you do, I recommend pressing the power button to turn it OFF and then back on to restart the process. Keep in mind, the normal cycle is 2.5 hours long.
@lydia07013 Жыл бұрын
If you open mid cycle, tap (dont long press) the start button and close the door. It will continue after a few seconds... If it is on hi temp or sanitize, it drains, refills and will start (after tapping the start button and closing the door)

I have a 2016 Samsung Dishwasher DW80J550UG. I can't make my washer to go unless I have to make the cycle on 17h delay go before the washer washes the dishes. what is happening Please give some advise
@deannareisman2 жыл бұрын
If you press where it says "Delay Start" then you'll see #h. Press "Delay Start" again to cycle through up to 24h(ours). After the 24h, the delay start time, #h, disappears and there will be no delay time set.

Does the start button light up?
@deannareisman Жыл бұрын
The power button itself does not light up. When powered on the "cycle" light (dot) should be on, the time should display, and if selected an "option" light (dot) should display. Every press has a set tones that play.

How do I turn off the delay start button.
@deannareisman2 жыл бұрын
With this model, when you press the POWER button it shows 2:50 in the "Time Left" display. This is the "Normal" cycle time. Depending on which other cycles and options you select the time will decrease or increase. Next to this display it says "Delay Start" press that if you want a delay start. If you press it and change your mind, I find pressing the POWER button to turn off then again to start over works best.

Hello Mr. Matt. I have the same dishwasher and I think I'm doing something wrong. Every time I go to fill my rinse aide compartment, it over flows. I don't know where the indicator is on the reservoir to tell me how much rinse aide there is. Could you help me? I just starting using rinse aide and I love it, but I got an error (OC) last night, so I turned it off and turned it back on and it worked, but I think it may have been due to the overflow of the rinse aide. Sorry if this is a dumb question. Thank you in advance for your help.

I’m new to owning a dishwasher too, yeah me too… mine shows a picture of the powder detergent in the manual and I was confused if it can use the pods too but no luck so I bought the powder cuz I don’t want to do wrong Amy suggestions???
@elidiamendez6502 жыл бұрын
@@melissavega4287 I still use the pods, haven't had any problems with them. I try to keep the rinse aid full, but I can never tell when it's full or empty. Not sure where the indicator is for the rinse aid. I always seem to overflow the rinse aid.

You have to adjust how much rinse aid it takes. There should be something you can turn to make it bigger to add more rinse aid

I have the same issue. I think the indicator is the top left button (I think it's supposed to turn blue but mine didn't either) I think maybe mine didn't because when I started adding it the dishwasher was off, maybe it has to be on the whole time? Did you figure it out? If so help me out? 😆

How much hand drying do u do? I hear all “condensation dry” dishwashers do not dry completely 100%.
@deannareisman2 жыл бұрын
My dishes are always dry. An exception may be a cup or bowl with a "well" that holds water. I use a sponge to soak the water before picking up the dish. Maybe try washing overnight, if you can. The cycle is NOT finished when the door pops open. It needs time after that happens. That's how it was designed.

Have this dishwasher. Yeah, it LOOKS nice - but it doesn't wash and EVERYTHING on center racks has grit/ food on it. The thing is a piece of junk...
@deannareisman Жыл бұрын
I do rinse (use a wet used napkin from dinner) before I load dishes. I thought I needed to because I only run it every 5 to 6 days. I rarely have unclean dishes. I also space my plates ever other slot in the bottom. If I have family over and will run it that night, I don't rinse as much. The dishes come out clean. How this helps. It took a little while, but I like the dishwasher lots now more than when I first got it.
@lydia07013 Жыл бұрын
@Deanna Reisman I use daily. Dishwasher not overcrowded (actually fill LESS than its predecessor), permanently removed top/ cutlery tray (which was the main selling point), the dishes are rinsed, tried tons of different powders, liquids and tabs, various rinse aids, etc. This POS STILL leaves grit all over the inside of glasses and bowls on center (which is now top) rack. Glad you found something that works for you, but I'll stick with my daily life, living fact that this is a huge POS. Had separate issue with Samsung stove which they wanted me to pay more than the cost of a new one to repair - so much for a "warranty"?? I'll NEVER buy another Samsung appliance again. Sadly by the record of all the appliances we purchased, looks like we'll be lucky if we can go a few years before having to replace $15,000 worth of the junk they sold us... Nope - NEVER
