I feel you didn't cover the performance aspect completely. Speed of opening apps doesn't depend on multi core but on single core performance, that's why you didn't notice much difference when opening apps. You'd notice the difference when doing something more taxing on the chip like opening a large file, video export, etc. Also, you didn't talk about gaming/graphics performance.

Thanks loads - this is exactly what I'm deciding on and was glad to see it recommended. Leaning towards shelling out a bit more on the A12 with the fingerprint sensor, slightly better camera performance a bit more future proof, especially as I fancy going for a decent refurbished one. It's nice to see a down to earth rundown on budget phones that don't revolve around them being worse than higher end ones (as if it makes a difference when upgrading!)

Galaxy A02s because the quality of the display is excellent well balanced because uses Qualcomm SD 450 processor with its good graphic card while Galaxy A12 uses MediaTek processor with a display with excessive brilliance because the graphic card from MediaTek isn't good. In the rest of features, the 2 are similar EXCEPT ONE THING, Galaxy A02s can transmit the content to an external display or TV using Smart View because its processor Qualcomm SD allows that while in Galaxy A12, MediaTek processor doesn't allow to transmit content to an external display or TV, in the A12 only you can transmit content to TV using Google Chromecast device, not using Smart View function.

They seem the same like the A11 though the A012 is slightly faster ( big deal ) A02 is cheaper and just as good , pixels are better .

I had an A11. It was utter garbage. Even with a sub $200 price tag, it's a waste of money. Cheap screen...cheap plastic body...they ripped out all of the Knox capabilities. Of course they did...they wouldn't sell any of their overpriced "flagship" phones if you could get everything in a cheap budget phone. Not to to mention the bright, garrish Samsung skin laid on top of android that looks like something a 12 year old girl would find attractive and my point is I despise Samsung phones. Switched to Moto and glad that I did. Stock android, no bloatware.
