3.08 I said 90Hz refresh rate. I was wrong. It’s 60hz.

The A05 seems like a good evolution to me knowing that it is the most economical model, remember that it is for people who use it for the basics, my mother had the A10 and moving to the A05 was quite good for her, she is not interested in having things like fingerprint scaner, versatility in cameras or a more fluid 90hz or 120hz screen that uses more battery. Compared to the one she had, she noticed a significant improvement in battery, change from micro USB to USB C, more storage and more consistent system behavior, I am clear that there are more very good models for the same price, but she was always a Samsung and I didn't want something used or reconditioned.

The only difficult thing is the face unlock in dark areas. Otherwise the phone is very good for its price, it can handle large apps and the camera is as good as how Samsung phone cameras are. I mean there are better Samsungs but comparing it to Apple you get the idea.

This type of phone in 2023/2024 shouldn't really be your main phone. In 2024, at the very least, the most respectable Samsung phone that goes down for cheap still is the A35. Water-resistance, decent Exynos 1380, still premium build, and decent cameras and battery performance. I'd say if you go even lower than that, say getting the A25/A15 and then the A05, u are losing the water resistance, the already subpar performance from the A35 chip, and a below ave performing cam. I am thinking of buying this phone as my backup phone in case something goes wrong with some things.

May be 2 one is already out there Android 14 and one UI 6.0 after Update many utilities are stable now

Other phones in it's price range are better than it except for fast charging and display. I would go for Redmi 13c or Spark 20 instead

For survival, you don't have to worry. Phones with Mediatek Chips are known to be long lasting. My galaxy A12 (Mediatek Helio p35) is nearing its 4 yes without issues and no battery issues either. Phones with Mediatek Chips are pretty much bulletproof. If you had used an infinix or Tecno device equipped with Mediatek processors, then you should know. For the OS upgrades, I don't have to worry because Samsung always keeps it's promises. Infinix phones can be good but keep in mind that infinix doesn't offer OS upgrades like Samsung and oppo. Concerning the camera interface, it's definitely a glitch, I encountered the same thing on my galaxy a05s until I got it's first security update , after that, the camera stopped glitching and image processing is faster. It is advised to charge the phone at night because of its thick body, heat build up easily. But what I admire with the a05s, it has a matte back panel, so I can use it without a case. There are some details I like about the a05, especially the teeny tiny notch, the notch is super tiny, that I'm not missing out on the punch hole display

Two big problems I have with the phone. It lags very well and also the camera isn’t stable at all.

If you think that phone lags, try using the the a04e which has a helio p35 instead of the a05's helio g85

The camera problem will be solved with future updates dude.it doesn't lag except for the camera.the MediaTek helio g85 is more than enough to run this budget phone.

This phone is no for me, should fall for the os update Nooo 😮, u can't use this device for 3 years, unless u are going through financial challenges

I was such a lover of samsung but this particular one feels like a waste of money. I truly regret it. How can a phone be charging after unplugging it from light????
