But the mystery is, how the hell do you find the apps?. My previous phone was a Samsung A13. Quite a good phone, efficiently set up, easy to use. This phone however, whatsapp and viber app downloads are not showing up on the screen to click on, but they are somewhere deep within the phones storage. This is new, I have never had a phone, where you download an app and that app logo is nowhere to be seen, but the app is on the phone. It is winding me up something cronic, that I think I am just going to replace the screen on my old cellphone and sell this samsung 05s, its totally and utterly illogical and totally different to other Samsung phones. 1/10 is my review, purely because major needed features, like showing the logo of what you have downloaded, in order to open that app, simply does not exist.

This my phone that I am using for now and I'm mentioning some things unmentioned. For a better phone, it's actually cheaper than its predecessor. Here in the Philippines, Galaxy A04s costs PHP 9,490 that's around USD 171. While A05s costs around USD 144 (PHP 7,990). They are both 4 GB RAM AND 128 GB ROM. Actually, the highest video quality of this phone is FHD 60 FPS not 30 FPS. The quality of front facing cam is not like that. I think, beauty filter is turned on which is actually a default out of the box. I also want to add that it takes forever to take a picture (I think, 5 seconds) when you turn flash on. Anyway, it's fast when flash is turned off. It has a 50 MP option when taking a picture and a non 50 MP (13 MP default). Sometimes, 50 MP rear cam produces an overexposed image when you're taking a photo outdoors. I may also add that you'll only get a type C to type C cord, a sim injector pin, and a quick start guide. Nothing else. No adapter. No phone case. No pre-installed screen protector.

@aheezan No. Low-end smartphones from Samsung don't have these features. Even the edge panel has been removed from their entry-level phones.

Huh, that's weird. I went to Samsung store in my city and I got a bundle of screen protector, power adapter with c to c cord, but no case. The employee said that it should also come with a case but there is no stock so they gave me a cashback. It cost roughly the same as you mentioned. Bought it for Rp2.100.000 (PHP 7529). I wonder if it's because the country is different.

I bought one yest, and compared to my old phone of another brand - also entry level, this phone is 10 x better. No stuttering, no freezing, it's a great phone for the price. Everything on it is ok/decent - not flagship quality, ie it's all very usable. It's what I would call a "sensible" phone as it's a very good price and does what it's supposed to do at this price point.

@AlashCountryball for the most part I see no issue with it. I'm an artist so I have a lot of work and projects to store, the space is favorable and the display is just right. For the camera, as long as the lighting is enough, there is no problem.

Got this free with a renewal on my provider account. Happy enough though i miss the sidebar available on my SM20... But i don't get why the charger cable needs an adaptor to plug into a USB.. what's the point of same plug at both ends? Odd. Good for a spare though if my main phone is charging or lost! It's familiar to use and quality ok. Good review thanks.

Is this a great choice for people who don't do gaming on the phone? Pretty much music and web browsing stuff are the only purpose my current phone serves me. I'm planning to upgrade my phone soon and this is one of the phones that I'm eyeing.

it does what a Smartphone is intendet to do. play videos, browse the web, messaging and social media. its perfectly fine for that. Also the battery life on these mid rangers is excellent. would recommend the A14 5G or A15 because of the software. they use the full OneUI instead of a slimmed down version while still running smooth. These should last you for 2-3 years at least

Weird, I have a Redmi note 12 4g, it has pretty much the same chipset but with overclocked cpu, and in battle royale games it stutters once every minute and a half or so, making the whole experience rather unpleasant

Its basically a A23 4G reloaded phone, but pricing & OneUI make it a worthwhile purchase, I wonder how it compares to A24 4G apart from A24 having Helio G99 & AMOLED

@@SneakySN yh, I know the A34 has one, but it isn't dedicated, It's a hybrid dual sim slot, meaning you can't use 2 sim cards and an SD card at the same time. You either use 1 SIM and an SD card, or 2 Sims. Unlike the A24 which you can use 2 sims and an SD card, cause it has a dedicated SD card slot

Just bought a Samsung AO5s today. From what i do on the phone these days, this Phone specification is more than enough for me to do what i need to do......text. Facebook, phone calls, banking, paying bills, calendar etc and other basic functions. The phone i replaced with this was Samsung S7 so this is way better.

I have a iphone 13, a iphone 13 pro max and this phone. Its actually pretty good and use it a lot. Id recomend it especially for the price. Looks and feels nice as well

I am upgrading from a Nokia 1.3 which is absolutely terrible, so I am sure this will be an improvement for the price point. I dont really want to spend much more as I barely use the phone except to take calls for work or as a wifi hotspot for my tablet.

Is that phone splash resistant? Because when i check his sim tray, it has rubber thingy at the end of the sim tray which also i've seen in other brand's, they also have rubber on the sim tray and they are splash resistance but the a05s doesn't indicate on the specs when i check in gsm arena website.

A quick comparison shows major improvement of all aspects. CPU: 2-3x faster. Display: higher resolution and refresh rate. Battery life: much better. Storage 2-4 times larger. Ram: doubled. But maybe the most important one of all: software. The A10 is stuck at Android 9 while the A05s will run the latest software for years to come. Edit: actually Android 11 is the latest version for the A10 so older software is less of an argument. I wanted to correct that.

@@stephenmukwaya652 Mainly a 1.5-2x faster CPU, 3x more powerful GPU and a higher resolution display on the A05s. Besides that the A12 has roughly the same camera setup, fingerprint scanner and the same 5000mAh battery. A lot of similarity but definitely an improvement if you choose to upgrade.

Go for A05s. I got A05 immediately after it came out and I regret getting it the moment I completed the set up. The camera is poor, not as par with old Samsung phones. 8t doesn't even have a fingerprint sensor. The only upside is that charging is super fast.

Sneaky idea to shrink the screen? Clearly we saw the black area around the phone edge, that's means Samsung has ✂️ the screen about one centimeter...why??? It's looks like the 23 better then 24.
