You're a lifesaver only thing I was doing was holding down the button so Google assist will come up and say "take screenshot", but your way is way more easier than having to do all that. like a lot of other people said I was just holding the buttons too long it's just a quick little push of both of them and then it happens. this was very informative thank you once again

Best instructions on taking screenshots on unsatisfactory Galaxy A13. Screenshots are not possible if the phone has a cover the power button is too deep. Thank you for your excellent and simple instruction.

For everyone who says screenshot is not working, THIS. you are holding the buttons too long. it is a QUICK 2-button touch. Different from the older Samsungs where you held the buttons. This A13 takes the shot AFTER you let go of the 2 buttons. Phone manual is found in Settings, then scroll down to Help, then Camera & Gallery, then Take a Screenshot. added July 2023.: I thought I posted this here somewhere, but anyway - Samsung A13 screenshot, another way to do it instead of holding 2 buttons simultaneously These instructions tell you how to put a button on the Samsung A13 screen to take screenshots with just a tap. Ok, here goes, follow the path: Settings --- Accessibility (near the bottom) --- interaction and dexterity --- Assistant menu (will be off, tap switch to turn it on). You will be asked to allow it to control your phone. Don't be scared, choose "Allow". A round circle with 4 squares in it will appear on your screen. Stay on that screen. Now tap the words "Assistant menu" again. On next screen, choose "select Assistant menu items". On next screen, tap "screenshot". Now tap the "back" arrow at the top. At the bottom of the screen you will see a slider bar under the word "Transparency". That slider adjusts the appearance of that round circle with 4 squares, whether you want opaque or see-thru. OK, you can go to your home screen now. You will see that circle with 4 squares in it on your home page. You can move that circle around with your finger. NOW when you want to do a screenshot, tap that circle, then tap screenshot. I also added a "back" and a "home" to my assistant. I cannot believe the makers of these phones feel this is an intuitive feature. I had to dig and write down the steps for future use.

Sorry, and you're exactly right but I have to take my screenshots while I'm working and sometimes on a laptop and on the phone and all kinds of other things. I do Network management at many businesses and that's when I have to take my screenshots is while I'm working and half the time I'm on a laptop Plus on the phone plus stalking to the customers because I have the credit cards offline. But for anyone looking to learn how to take screenshots and edit and send or share them, then your video is perfect for those people. I just needed to go a step or two farther LOL. But thank you for your video and keep up the hard work. It seems that KZfaq and Google are the only places we learn anything anymore so you are a big part of that and I thank you very much

Why isn't there a way to change the way you take screenshots on the A13 5G? I use mine for work and I am inside and outside and up on buildings and sometimes in attics and I have to have a case and the case that I have makes it a lot harder than it already is to take a screenshot. Because for some reason the side key itself is recessed a little bit. But it was not something you can do one handed even before I had the case. Checked all through settings and cannot find anything about changing the way it's done so I'm hoping that I just missed something?

I found another, easier way to take a screenshot on the A13 5G. I'm now using the edge panel (tasks), and it's much much easier, at least for me anyway. I felt like a contortionist trying to do it with one hand while trying to do ANYTHING else. But where there's a will there's a way LOL. And I actually learned a few other things while reading everything in the settings around the same section. Good luck everyone and have a great day. 👍

I don't care for the buttons we have to push for screen shots...OMG! What a pain! It's a bummer that when I try to take screen shots, I even see the volume appearing on the screen or that it pushes the power off or gives the options. It sucks for me-would not buy this phone if it's not that I got it free...lol!

My power button is broken. Is there another way

I know it doesn't work . Months ago I stumbled upon the way to do it and I don't know how to do it again when I did my update on my phone it cleared everything out and now I don't have it. It's something to do in your settings or something and it brings a little circle around and it just stays on your screen so that when you want to move it to take a screenshot of something you just do it but it got rid of all that when I updated everything I hate it when it messes with something I did and it has no business doing it😡

When I do the power button and down volume button all I get is the screen to turn off my phone. I've done it multiple times even with the case off to make sure it wasn't in the way of the buttons. So?.....

I think we all know it buy now....what am asking can you take a photo just touching the screen

I had to go to another channel to get the 2nd Method also the quick, easy way to screenshot without struggling with the side buttons. I'm disappointed that you only knew of one Method to screenshot.

how about a13 4G ?`

This method of vov/power does not work. All it does is power off the phone. What other method might give me a screen shot on my brand new Samson Galaxy A13 G5.
