So in short: For daily usage: The A5 (2017) simply is noticably faster (sometimes even much faster) For gaming specifically: The iphone 7 Plus is much faster In conclusion as most people don't game on their phones: The A5 (2017) outclassed the most expensive and the utmost fastest iPhone 7 Plus (256GB) This is pathetic. The 7 Plus 256GB is noticably faster than the 7 Plus 32GB model. Yet the A5 (2017) is faster than Apple's least sold top-tier yet also fastest smartphone. On top of that, the A5 has a much much much better display too boot too. What's going wrong Apple...come on...

Why do people really spend 600-800$ on phones?? Budget phones have become far superior than what they used to be. The only thing flagship phones do better is take better photos and videos. Besides, most people only make calls and use some apps on their phones.

galaxy phones home button delay is due to the double click to camera feature. if you disable it in camera settings you will notice home button response alot faster

even tho the a5 will obviously lose, its a shame that a midrange phone is only a lil bit slower than a flagship phone.

so basically if you are not a gamer and are not crazy with taking pictures all the time in top quality the A5 is the perfect phone and is even better than the iPhone 7 plus. I have a iPhone 7 and i'm selling it because the battery lasts half a day and the wifi connection and LTE signals are crap. The display is too small and compared to an amoled really outdated. Needles to say the picture quality on iPhone 7 is also very average and in low light it is terrible. The only good thing is that you can buy a ton of cool cases and that the speakers are awesome. I ordered a A5 2017 and an iPhone 8 plus...today they will both arrive and i'm exited to test them for my self to see which one I will keep. I hope A5 (if the speaker is acceptable) ... comparing mid range phones to flagships is very smart so you can show the people out there for what minimal difference they are paying a tripple price. I'm an Apple user for years and I honestly think that the phones are not worth it. I just love switching cases and the design too much :) Keep up the great work!

What is bad about Android is that with time their phone slows down and as an Android and Ios User i find Iphone better in each department.

It's sad that the single core score is so low, while the iphone is 3 times more. I really wanted that midrange phone. But iphone will get my money due to power alone, yes Sammy has a better screen but with lack of processing power I'll have to get plus.its not about the speed for me but how smooth third party apps will run.
