In the battery settings you can turn on a feature that prevents the phone from charging above 85%. Making the battery much more durable and useable a couple of years down the line.

Well tell us how to do that! I have two Samsung tablets and the Samsung A53. Sometimes I forget and leave them on the charger, too long, until they are full!

@@sarrajable I think it has to do with the version of Android you have. After seeing this guy's video, I found these features on my two new Samsung tablets and my A53. The phone has android 12 and the tablets have Android 11.

I just got it (upgraded from a50 to a53 5g) The difference is crazy, the camera is so good aswell the cpu

I did exactly the same. From A50 dual sim to A53 5G. Both devices are great. I just wanted 5G connection and better battery life. Before I got A53 I bought Moto Edge 30 Ultra but I couldn't get use to it so I got Samsung again 😄

I stumbled onto your video. With my A53, I was able to change back to the buttons mode at the bottom. I had that in my previous Moto and Nord phones, which I still own and had gotten used to it. Then I changed it to the same button format on my latest 7 and 10 inch Samsung tablets. On older Samsung tablet did not give me that option. Thanks!

I found out the screen has brighter settings in the auto brightness then it does if you do it manually. Maybe it'll get brighter manually if I use an app but out of the box it gets brighter on auto brightness

Thank you for the tips, very useful indeed. What I am missing is how to set my transition screens to 3D? I contacted Samsung and they provided step, but the actual "Transition Effects" option is not available. Any advice on this?

I've got the a53 5g and when I get notifications the screen wakes up. I've checked the setting and can't find hoe to switch it off is their any way to switch it off. Also no edge lighting so is their anyway to use the punch hole as a notification light?

@@shriverfam230 Sure. So far, I have been with them for about 4 weeks and everything has been smooth. Reception is good. I've also chatted with customer service before and after I activated with them and they were surprisingly good. Glad I made the switch from Verizon so far.

I have the kindle app on my A53 and all the while I was reading my books on portrait mode and when I turned the device the would go on landscape mode. One time the book turned into landscape mode and got stuck there. It will not change to portrait mode even though I have checked that the phone is on rotation mode. What do you advise ?

Hi, on battery saving mode mine doesn't show the "turn off 5G" feature, why? I'm with Total by Verizon. Can I find that somewhere else?

If you have Samsung Pay and gestures, it's a bit difficult to swipe up on main screen. Also it's a bit laggy. I realized that, if you only show Samsung Pay on locked screen, it's smoother and less laggy (don't know why).

I have a question... Is the haptic feedback the same as the a52 phones or is it improved? Because those phones had a very slow and unresponsive haptic motor, felt very cheap.

I have this phone, came from s9+. What I like the most is the display, its pleasure for an eye and a battery life. What I dont like...sometimes phone lags, for example instagram stories or closing an app with gestures, its annoying but maybe its normal for a mid range phone.

It might be because it's a brand new phone with a new processor/CPU that not all the apps are optimized for the Galaxy A53 because it just came out.

Im upgrading from an a12 which was super laggy i went to settings>accessibility>visibility enhancements and turned off animations this fixed 90% of the lag i was having. may work for the a53 as well idk i wont receive mine till tomorrow

Same here. Broke the screen on my 9+. Going to try this one out. But keeping my 9+ around just in case. Was happy with it and he A53 looked like close replacement. Looked at S22 but between price and no storage card I think the 53 will be fine for me.

Thanks for the demo. I also decided to turn off fast charge setting because the battery gets very warm at a 20W rate. A 10W rate will extend the life of the battery and reduce thermal rise in the USB contacts. In a rush situation fast charging is easily restored.

I hate how the screen flickers or flashes before it settles. Sometimes keeps doing it if there are multiple windows / pop ups vying for power I guess

If you're using the Google messages app that came with the phone, just tap on a message and it will show you date and time send/received.

Terrible echo problem with Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. When I call people they complain they are hearing a bad echo at their end. It's especially bad when I am using a wired headset (which does not have noise cancelling built in). I did some research and apparently Galaxy phones have a noise background suppression system that uses the phone's onboard microphone to sample ambient noise. So it's relaying my voice twice, once with a slight delay. But I can't see any way to turn this feature off. Can anyone help me?
