Are you sure the A55 doesn't have a memory card slot? I was just online with Samsung. He said the phone hadn't been released yet so no one knows. He did say "Most A series have a memory card slot so the chances are it will."

Plastic frame in the a55 is incorrect. Renders on Samsung's website shows brushed aluminum and the "key island" design language.
