Exactly why I got one. (256GB / 8GB RAM) Why would I need to spend another £500+ here in the UK for the S23+ (same size) when I can get this and bung in a 256GB SD card to make 512GB? No brainer! Perfect 'every man / woman' phone. I don't need a flagship!

@@chris3295 Is the phone good for multitasking? Can you use KZfaq and Chrome? Can you use picture in picture and will it lag? Can you use google maps in pop up view and chrome? Does multitasking lag the phone?

I have had this for 2 months also and love this!! Sure it has a few hiccups here and there it is a midrange but nothing to complain about!! Glad i got it!!

@@koreyb I have the A54 for a month now and yeah it's quick, but it's not consistent. Like sometimes it does take a second to load things but when I'm like actively using my phone, for example using Google Maps then I barely care like it doesn't bother me

The funny thing about this phone is that it's really only compared to it's older brother the a53 and it's better the the a53 but how does it stand up to any other phone like a pixel 7a or a phone with a 765g I mean a lg G50 was better then the a53 and that's a 4 year old phone.

I got this phone to use as a work beater phone and I got to trade in my old a13 5g for 170 promotional credit. this phone is so good that iv been thinking of using it as a main phone, but then again I cant give up my fold 4 for a budget phone.

I don't get why Motorola who make great little phones won't do better updates . Like atleast 3 .. I have a moto g power 2023 5g .. and I found out it'll only update i guess to a 14.. .. although my other one that's also a 2023 moto g stylus ..got Android 13 and will get Android 14 I think too

im getting this phone soon i had samsung galaxy 10e it was gd but no longer getting updates so upgrading to this my old phone i paid 100 dollars this is at metro for 60 so altogether im payin around 85 or 90 which is a good deal

I just upgraded to the a54 about a week ago. Prior to that I had the a51. The a54 definitely has a better screen, and much better battery life. But the a51 overall function better. The a54 likes to lag, too much. It's especially noticeable when you do speech to text, sometimes it doesn't even write what you say, it writes nothing in the microphone shuts off. It will do that numerous times More than once a day. It's not a horrible phone, but I was expecting a little bit better performance than my a51. But the screen is nice to look at.

@@Uxz-iu8re I ended up buying the moto edge 2022 which is equivalent to the a54, 6.6" screen 5000mah battery and only 170 grams, couldn't go with my other price range option a s21 fe which is similar in size and weight because the battery life on that phone is terrible.

Have you had a chance to test the proximity sensor when making calls? alot of people say the virtual sensor is far worse than a physical sensor (which the vast majority of phones have). Will that processor still be ok up to Android 17? They should have used Mediatek, a higher tier one that the A34 has, would make more sense and would be better for conumers. Im skeptical !
