Pixel is more consistent. Although not wrong getting the A54 since many countries don't sell the Pixel.

@@xColdJohn the pixel as well it doesnt have makro that annoys me but i will still take the pixel mainly otherwise pretty much same but tis more handy if it would have a makro lens as well pixel everytime but well actually how often do you really use it then i dont really need it the more videos you watch the more insecure you get i wanna operate my phone comfortable with one hand soon its not possible anymore so at leat with that one still works

*Pixel 6a feels and acts like a flagship. Galaxy A54 is a typical mid-ranger.* Samsung reserves its flagship algorithms for S, Fold and FE series only. You'll see Galaxy A54 stumble immediately in HDR videos, stabilization, consistency etc.

Did you update to latest software in a54 because that shutter lag at night shot was comically long.

The 6a probably has the faster chip, but the A54 is plenty fast enough; the Exynos 1380 is equivalent in CPU power to the Snapdragon 778G, but more efficient due to the smaller 5nm manufacturing process. Also, the A54 has much better pop with it's Super AMOLED screen; battery life; 4 years of OS updates; adaptive 120hz screen. I chose the A54 because I dislike the Pixels UI, there are no deep blacks - which it should have, being an OLED panel - to me its drabby, I don't want greys and browns, I want pure black & blur effects. Samsung IMO has the best skin of all the android devices. It's the iPhone of Android so to speak. Pictures are fine for my usage, I want a phone that I enjoy using and I want spectacular battery life... The A54 achieved that. I actually use it more than my S23 Ultra because it just feels better in the hand.

If i rarely use video probably i would go with A54. Stabilization in Pixel is good deal.

you would notice a massive difference, the iPhone will be multiple times faster and provide a better experience as the pixel 6 is a midrange phone and the iPhone is a flagship

I wonder if you can stabilize the video on Samsung A54 in Sony Vegas Pro. If yes, then the difference between Google Pixel 6a and Samnsung A54 will not be so big, because any video can be stabilized on A54 in a professional program, that is, one disadvantage of A54 will be less. It is possible to stabilize the video on Samsung A54 in Sony Vegas Pro. There are several ways to do this, but one of the simplest is to use the built-in Video Stabilization plug-in.

Maybe Pixel 6a overheats when recording video because this phone uses a lot of power to stabilize video. But anyone can stabilize video in a professional program like Sony Vegas Pro or another program. So maybe A54 is also not too bad for video.

Pixel 6a if you can get for under $200, half the price of the A54 due to their respective life cycles, is a bargain, and if camera is important on a budget then that i the phone to buy. The A54 will fall in price so if you want that and can hold out, then wait for some discounts. As the best phone, the A54 wins that, but the Pixel 7a will be the real rival if you want similar specs. There is no loser here, win-win, just depends on what you are looking for.

@@danielsin well i still shot my video in 1080p/30fps coz i'm not youtuber like you.. this is my everyday phone so i need to save some space.. and why forcing record in 4K when clearly stabilization isn't work at that resolution?

@@mactian9493for this money should it have a stabilization also for what is the SD slot for storage. 256gb internal costs 539 Euro in Germany No stabilization is a No Go in this prize range in 2023.

@@Spike626721 well not here in singapore.. the 128Gb cost $439 and the 256Gb only cost $475.. and it is has stabilisation at 1080p.. the sd card slot is a nice addition too since not many phones have the sd card at this price range anymore..

@@ironlake8944 Yes, Pixel 6a is ahead unless you record in extreme low-light. I suggest getting an iPhone or S21Fe if recording is what you care about.
