This worked! What I did after holding the power button & holding it down for at least 20 seconds. Then I used a land line to call myself. The phone worked! Thank you so much!

It was very helpful, also this also works in tab A6 2016, for those who have that tablet with the same problem, the caution with the blue backround will appear, simply press the down colume button to restart the tab (not faculty reset). It worked! Phone wasn’t charging so I held the power, home, and volume up buttons for a while and it started charging!

@@jorinmacheca9760 Yes, you can usually do it a couple of times like this, but problems will usually become more frequent and then finally you won't be able to restart it any more.

It looks more like your battery has gone to "happy hunting ground". For about $50 a good shop should be ably to replace it. As far as I've seen my key combination does not delete any data .... but always do it at your own risk ... ;-)

Does it work for S5e? It hasnt been charging cause of the moisture detector. It handles it poorly and shouldn't have it in

When it is about 3 years old it will be on about 1000 charging cycles and EOL. Either buy a new phone or let a small shop replace the battery for about $50

If you can't charge even when it's turned off then it's either a defective charger or battery (99% likely)

My S5 neo won't optimise app it stops at 18 of 20 after many minutes the cogs stopped moving and would restart when i turned it on it was black with a blue light i thought it lost it's os but is does boot in recovery mode it must be a software issue help 🙏

I guess Samsung wants S7 Edge holders to update to S10 or whatsoever ... nothing new ... But you can still use your phone? Sometimes deleting lots of unneeded apps or reset helps to slow down battery usage and if everything does not help it's usually the battery itself because after 3 years lots of them are EOL and need replacement (can be done for about $50 in small repair shops). Hope it helps a bit.

@@quanitathompson6994 If it doesn't work it's either damage from drop, water damage, maybe defective charger or cable (try also to charge wirelessly) or the battery is EOL. Go to a small phone repair shop and get the battery replaced for about $50 or buy a new phone like the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite , which you can get for only $300 on Amazon: amzn.to/2HwRFmP. I bought it because I was tired to spend $1000 on Samsung phones which last only 2 years - and I'm super happy with it. Battery usually lasts 2 days ;-)

BTW: Either my trick works or the (wall-)plug or the charging cable is damaged (also try to charge wireless) or the battery is end-of-life. Such batteries usually last 1000 cycles, which means basically 3 years. After that a new battery or a new phone is needed. I was myself in the same situation and tired of paying $1000 every 2 or 3 years so I ended up buying this nice phone on Amazon for $200 and am very happy since: Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro 64GB, 6GB RAM: amzn.to/37lKtlw Also make sure you always have a backup of your phone - especially Google Photos to back up all valuable moments for free

Before your water test it was OK? Water can damage very different things. I would maybe let it dry a bit longer and check again ....

Same just happened to my s7 only, it was working absolutely perfectly after 3 years, no overheating, no battery drain, worked like new...then out of nowhere it just decided to stop charging, no fix works!!!

@@oguzinan172 If it doesn't work it's either damage from drop, water damage, maybe defective charger or cable (try also to charge wirelessly) or the battery is EOL. Go to a small phone repair shop and get the battery replaced for about $50 or buy a new phone like the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite (64GB, 4GB RAM) 6.26" , which you can get for only $150 on Amazon: amzn.to/2Vps9Cf. I bought it because I was tired to spend $1000 on Samsung phones which last only 2 years - and I'm super happy with it. Battery usually lasts 2 days ;-)

If it swithes off after restarting then do that again and keep the warning screen on do not press restart let your phone charge for 15 minutes and then restart. 👍 I just fixed my j7 this way. Dont let your phone's battery completely die next time or this may happen again

If nothing works ... there's a good chance battery is EOL. Either you buy a new phone or let a small shop replace the battery for $50. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite (64GB, 4GB RAM) for below $200 with a really decent cam is still a good choice if you ask me: amzn.to/302IHWO

I did all what you said. Instead of starting up phone there comes multiple options to select from a) if you want to start your phone normally b) if you want to start your phone in safe mood. I tried both but after Samsung logo it again back to not charging stuck mode. Please help me

My Samsung s6 edge plus is just showing a black screen unresponsive, but when I plug my charger cord in the white lightning bolt displays but continuously. When I take the charger out the white lightning bolt disappears and It’s just black again. I tried what u did and it didn’t work, I Held the buttons for exactly a minute, should I go longer?

We have the same problem, what I did is to jump start my battery, remove the back cover and charge with a high voltage. It's done by small repair shop.

Hi, i'm using an S7 edge. The Power button + Volume down combination worked for me. However, after i input my pin, it is now stuck on the Logo screen and still cant do anything about it :(

QUICK SOLUTION: Hold these 2 buttons: power button + volume down button w/o the charger chord in. Then quickly put in the charger & hold for a few seconds & let go & after a few more seconds, the thunder bolt will change into a charging symbol. Your data wont be deleted using this method.

Worked on S7edge, battery symbol disappeared, its downloading SW, started to action. I should have looked at this video before I purchased new battery.however I'm glad it's working, as I like to keep S7 edge as my backup phone..cheers😊
