Still rocking the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro 360 circa 2018. Got the smaller 13" as well. Solid build though I don't use them for design work. I am careful but I don't baby them. They're some of my favorites along with certain Thinkpad models. I want to pull the trigger on a new Samsung but a bit put off by passive screen cracking issues in these thinner models. Some people say it was overblown but still...Thoughts?

I've always had a bad impression when it comes to laptops having amoled displays. Can I say they're more prone to having burn-in because on laptops we tend to have more static images, and work on websites programs that are more static? Honest question.

Hopefully they will allow ram.upgrades in GI e future now that's 48GB sticks are here. Ssd upgrades are fast and cheap 4tb just $200 now

They start @ $2,400 here in the US. So, similar to an M3 (Pro chip) MacBook Pro 16" base model, I believe.

Were you able to update windows OS on this machine? my last Samsung had trimmed windows OS and was not allowed by Samsung to run any update: OS, Drivers, BIOS (UEFI).

My Samsung 360 laptop was awesome until the glass on the AMOLED cracked. A hairline crack from the top to the bottom. I saw on Reddit that this was a known issue. Like many others the laptop had never left my desk during the pandemic as I was stuck working from home. My best guess is that a tiny crumb or something must have gotten into the keyboard and the glass was too flimsy to sustain a simple closing. The replacement cost was $500 on a $1050 laptop. Yeah not happening. I rather lose $500 selling as is and put towards a second hand M1 MacBook Air. So I doubt I'll buy another Samsung laptop although I buy all their other products as a first choice.

Over £3150 in the UK for the Ultra Core Ultra 9/1TB/32GB/4070, which is in the M3 MB Pro 16 M3 Max pricing. Makes the Ultra a tough buy. Also, it costs £400 to upgrade to 2TB, the same as Apple, and I bet no one complains about that despite the usual moans about this on Mac reviews.

Well because windows can game a lot better than a MAC its why no one would complain with MAC you probably be able to play casual games while with this ultrabook it has rtx 4070 which cannrun some tripple a titles with mac it probably can but the ios system for gaming is kind of bad id wish apple would focus their mac more for gaming then id buy one

Talking about gaming it's better to buy a dedicated gaming laptop over this. For cooling purpose. This ultra book is a samsung's competitor for m3 macbooks. For those who want to use samsung's eco system and still have neer macbook performance.

It has a dedicated GPU. MAcs suffer because of this and its the main reason I was unable to use them. They are good for video editing and thats basically it. Can't game, can't do 3d properly. Those are huge pitfalls.

@@jkagwen ARM chips don't work like that. The GPU is core based rather than having a dedicated or integrated GPU as in Intel and AMD. So Apple silicon can easily match or better dedicated GPUs. It is the software that legs at the moment.

Bro you forgot the most important thing … so I don’t want you to die from it’s specification but the 120 fps isn’t it all power if you click the f11. Button you will turn on the performance mode which is the beast mode and your frames will jump in fortnight into 200fps 7:45

Unfortunately, I believe that may be true. It partly explains why Samsung even makes Windows laptops; it's a differentiator in terms of ecosystem benefits -- very similar to what Apple does.

Its only the 360 model which comes with a spen inside the box But i do not know if it can work with the pen of s24 ult

But the 360 model if you want to use the spen. Stylus compatible screens has certain modifications beneath the screen to make it work. If you use s pen on a non 360 model, you may damage the screen. The 360 model comes with an spen as far as I know

Not really, this is Samsung's 2024 flagship PC, and the specs overall are very good. The price is comparable to an M3 (Pro chip) 16" MacBook Pro base model. It would be nice to see how the Ultra's thermals, Webcam, speakers, and battery life compare to that MacBook.

Sir please use Davinchi Resolve studio version because only studio version will use Media Engines for encoding and decoding. Your Free version will use cpu cores for encoding and decoding which will be very very slow and laggy.

@sharkfintech5893 for what a 4 Ultra costs, I'll have a fully speced Transcend 14 for a $1000 less. I struggle to see why I'll prefer this. BTW, I've had Galaxy Ultra phones for years.
