The Buds 2 have active noise cancellation and are 15% smaller and 20% lighter than their predecessor, the Galaxy Buds+. In a growing market with great wireless earbuds like the Sony WF-1000XM4 and Apple Airpod Pros, do the Bud 2’s new features and smaller design bring enough value to rival its competition? Absolutely! I really enjoyed one of Becca's previous videos with the "Galaxy Beans" as she called them, so when I saw she made a new review for the latest earbuds, I knew her personality would shine through. And of course, she goes well into detail with every area of the product.

The wind cancelation on the Buds Pro were amazing. That sounded way better than the Airpods in that test.

I absolutely love Becca's reviews. If i could suggest something to add to the mic test, it would be to test using them on a call. In my experience most earbuds drop the sound and mic quality severely when using both simultaneously.

I'm also missing a bit of commentary from Becca. If you don't have the best quality headset at the moment, it's hard to hear a big differences, it would be good to hear her thoughts on the mic quality.

Buds Pro sounded best with fans on. That's what I'm daily driving these days. My experience with the pros is that they have worse noise cancellation than the airpod pros, better mic than the airpod pros, and generally obviously better android support which made them way nicer to use for me with an android phone. I really love the mic comparisons though cause i never really get to hear what i sound like on all these things!

When I tried the buds pro I felt like they had much worse passive noise cancellation when compared to the buds+. How do you think these compare? I miss the wing too.

I just can't understand why Samsung abandoned the wing tip on their buds. It's THEE only thing that keeps buds in my ear securely and it seems like I'll be stuck with the Buds Plus forever.

I don't like jamming eartips in my ear canal, so I bought the buds live. Afraid they would fall out. But with the big wingtips (not visible from outside) they are incredibly stable... even in workouts. Most reviews dont mention this

Okay, I liked the Buds Live, but noticed when running ang getting sweat in my ears they sliped around so needed to correct them all the time. And I was a bit afraid they would get damaged by the sweat and there fore water damaged. So I have been thinking of getting the Pro instead of the Buds 2, but other reviews have also said these Buds 2 have a better fit. But will they withstand sweating aka sweatproof?

Shoutout to Buds Pro during the mic test at 4:39 . They were the best of the bunch. I use Buds+ which have good mic quality and blocks most of the background noise but as soon as winds come in on the other side, all I hear is wind and it is very irritating. Even the airpods pro in this test did a software gimiky tweek which really supressed its quality.

Honestly i have saved more by getting the buds plus last year. Its still rockin good covering all the basics like battery life, call quality etc.

I have the Buds+ and I really enjoy them. I got them because of the battery life. I spend most of my days fishing, and they last my whole trip. I also can tell that I will not like these due to the lack of wingtips. You mention this is the beginning. ANC isn't much of a deal for me, since the silicone tips provide great isolation. I actually hear less when outside with the Buds+ than with my over-ear with ANC, but this is because of the noise bleed on the over-ears caused by the wind. These look like a great product, though. The Buds+ have the mics on the top and bottom, rather than right in the front like my over-ears.

Recently purchased these I like the way they fit comfortably in my ears and stay in my ears a lot better than the studio beats, which tended to fall out of my ears Overall they have pretty good sound quality. I don't really like how they put the pause button in an awkward position I am satisfied with them

The best representative at The Verge!! Love it when she does these videos. Samsung New Zealand will be selling these for NZ$279, still cheaper than Sony New Zealand's NZ$499 X1000 m4 earbuds. May upgrade from my wired earphones to the Samsung. No more dealing with a tangled chord.

I found that I didn't not need the wing tip anymore with the Buds 2 because they are so much lighter and do not move at all, with the Buds + they were constantly wanting to slide out.

Would love to see the mic test in a noisy environment! My BF has the the AirPod pro and anker life p3 kills his AirPod pro mic test only! Fan test doesn’t really sub for coffee shop background chatter! Nice video in general!

But will they stay in the ear like the Buds Plus? I purchased the Buds Pro and they kept falling out of my ear. I couldn’t do the normal things I would do with my Buds plus like run. So I returned them and went back to my Buds Plus.

Are the EQ settings only available through the Android App still? I got a pair of Galaxy Buds and found they only stayed on my preferred EQ setting while connected to my phone, not my laptop.
